As I lay here on my couch at 10pm on a Friday night with tired eyes, a weary soul, and a tender heart from the hustle and hurry of the week, I am completely satisfied and grateful for my leftovers. I’ve been here twice, the first time I came to this establishment, I was skeptical. The establishment is clean and tidy, but I was thinking of my best friend’s mom. I once tried calling myself Kitty, and it never really stuck, a) because it’s a ridiculous name, and b) to demand people call you Kitty is also ridiculous. But the only person to call me Kitty with a thick English Vietnamese accent to this day is my best friend’s mom, Amy. Every time I go out to buy Viet food from a restaurant, I think of a newspaper wrapped table and scattered across it; a huge bottle of hoisin sauce, sriracha, home-made fish sauce, and whatever Amy effortlessly made. Amy shouldering every Viet party/ gathering (there are many), and most of if not every meal her family has ever eaten at home, I go to most Viet restaurants and get disappointed. I tried ordering chicken skewers, preemptively thinking about my disappointment, and the women said something along “no that’s appetizer, you need whole meal,” and I knew I was at the right place. Needless to say, I am writing all of this to say thank you for transporting me to a meal, around a newspaper wrapped table, that I have missed for a very long time.

Holy SHIZNIT! I ordered this chicken sandwich on a hoagie with some stuff and some things which you’ll see in my pictures! As soon as I took a bite so much flavor and so many different flavors! Chicken was cooked perfectly! Not to mention you get that old school service because the woman who works there is absolutely amazing!
Obviously, I’ll be back to Try. Probably the rest of the menu, but honestly everything perfectly cooked! But for me being a little older, lol, I love the fact that you get that old-school Service! I totally recommend this place! I was a little nervous at first because I haven’t had Vietnamese food, but I’m so glad I tried it and you will be too! Check out my pics 🙂

My girlfriends and I went on a girls trip to FL and this was our last stop on the way back home. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The owners reminded all of us of our grandparents. The place felt so homy and comfortable. The seating area is so beautiful. We loved our experience here. 10/10

Was pretty good. It didn’t come with the traditional bamboo shoots, basil, and other things what would have added some more flavor. Service was great, the lady working was super nice and cooperative. Does the trick when you want some pho.

Chicken pad thai was alright (some vegetables were too hard for my taste). Pho with beef was delicious and tender. Both had very generous portions and flavors were good. The place is quite small and dimly lit. The staff was nice but seemed aloof.

The food was delicious with quick setvice! The couple that works there was very friendly and provided with a smile. The tables were a little sticky but there’s nothing a quick wipe cant fix!
The portion sizes for price are very generous and the food was very good! Unsure if they always do it but we talked about splitting the spring rolls and they cut it into 6 pieces for us and gave us two sauce cups.
Yummy food and great price! definitely worth checking out

We ordered the beef pho (32 oz) and a pork bahn mi. Both were fantastic – by far better than other restaurants we’ve been to in Gainesville. The broth was savory (a lot of places can be sweet), the veggies were plentiful and crisp, and the meat for the bahn mi was well marinated and had a delicious bite of char flavor. The baguette was also well toasted and soft. We also had a Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee – both good but the coffee better (imo) than the tea. The total cost was between 20 – 30 dollars, which is fair considering how much food we got. I would highly recommend going here for delicious, authentic Vietnamese food.

It has a pretty good bahn mi sandwich. Just make sure you repeat your order otherwise you might get something you didn’t make clear. But otherwise great place.

This is ABSOLUTELY the WORST Vietnamese pho I’ve ever had (and I am of Vietnamese descent). The pho broth was VERY salty with NO flavor. I can’t believe that they’re allowed to call that authentic Vietnamese food!! Don’t waste your money.. go somewhere else!
