I went to this place a few days ago and I highly recommend it. It’s the first Ecuadorian restaurant where I felt right at home. The food was incredible; I’d love to go back to try more dishes. The dessert is highly recommended. And the soursop juice, which I hadn’t had in ages, was fantastic. They don’t sell alcoholic beverages. We were able to get a table right away during the week without any problem. I don’t remember the waiter’s name, but he was very attentive the whole time.

Coming back asap! Had live music, food was incredible and we all ordered different plates and everything was insanely delicious. Atmosphere was great, service was super impressive. Went for lunch on a Saturday. Batidos were also a must!

I tried Ecuadorian food for the first time, and it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was wonderful, with saxophone music filling the air, and the BOYBeer paired perfectly with the meal. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I especially loved the Cazuela—a rich, thick, curry-like dish that goes so well with rice. Even after returning to Korea, I still find myself craving it. A truly memorable dining experience!

Great place for authentic ecuadorian food, really well conserved the taste of Ecuador. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because the caldo de salchicha was too oily, I had to remove the excess oil from the surface onto another plate so it didn’t feel unpleasant in the mouth. All dishes are very good size portion and be sure that you will not walk out of here hungry or disappointed. We had the corviche as an app which was amazing, and for entrees we had the encocado mixto and caldo de salchicha both very tasty. Also, on the house, they welcome you with a very delicious spicy sauce (aji) made in the ecuadorian way with tostado, I definitely loved it.

Have been wanting to find an Ecuadorian place that felt authentic, this was the place. Really good service from the start and the atmosphere was great as well.

The food was amazing and came in really big portions, really tasty just like an actual Ecuadorian dish, would def recommend if you are ever looking for a great atmosphere and authentic Ecuadorian food.

We drove from Orange county, NY to try this restaurant. I have been wanting to go for months and we finally went for my birthday. I called ahead and they didn’t take reservations. That’s unfortunate. We got there and we’re told 1hr and 20min wait. That was insane but we took the chance and waited since we weren’t close to home. After waiting about 70 min, in our car and some of us stood out in the cold since the place is small and there is no where to wait inside, we had even more delays because we were told that our party of 8 had to wait since the owner had arrived with some guests. I was clearly disappointed but in the end. They made adjustments for us and ended up giving us the table that was meant for the owners guests to us. Rightfully so. The servers were friendly, the food was very good, very nice presentation, the corviche was so delicious! I could have just ordered that as my meal. My only constructive criticism is that some of our soups and cazuela were a tad salty. The tostenes did not seem fresh. Overall, I would go back and take a chance on the long wait times. Reservations for large parties 6+ would benefit both the restaurant and the guests. They had great music playing, maybe a little too loud for my taste but that’s just preference. It would be nice to see some ecuadorian art on the walls perhaps from local artists. If you take a look at our photos you can see that it all looks delicious. I would recommend Moreno restaurant to parties of 2 or 4. Try the fruit juices and the corviche!

Great place for a delicious meal! Recommended by a friend, and did not disappoint. Although just have to warn you if you do not speak Spanish and have a big party making a reservation will be impossible. My husband tried to call and make reservation they said “no speak english” and hung up, hostess did not speak any English at all on arrival either. We were seated promptly and enjoyed our meal. The menus are digital with pictures and the waiter was able to speak a some English to help us pick dishes, he made recommendations and they were great! Overall enjoyed the experience, but would just like to warn others about the language barrier so they’re ready for it.

Service 10/10 staff were very attentive and I can tell they work as a team very efficiently.
Atmosphere was good, the Ecuadorian music made me feel like I was back home.
I do wish the space was a bit more spacey, however they make it work.

I visited from Upstate Manhattan and it really amused me. Was a fantastic experience and quality food.
Corviche was my favorite dish .
They don’t sell beers, but you can bring yours from outside asking for permission.
