Ate here for dinner Friday evening. It’s more self service than being waited on since your order at a kiosk and get your own drinks. I ordered the teriyaki chicken roll with miso soup. I liked both but I’ve had much better miso soup elsewhere. We shared the garlic butter chicken wings. Wings are huge, tasted alright. My boyfriend ordered the teriyaki plate with fried rice, said it was pretty good. I would come back but I would place a different order next time.

I’ve been wanting to try Krave in Norman but had the opportunity to try this location first. I was extremely underwhelmed. I had beef Udon. It tasted like old shrimp. I believe it’s because they use cast iron pans to cook and the dish is served in the pan. I frequently use my own cast iron and I don’t cook fish or seafood in them because they’ll hold onto that flavor. That flavor overwhelmed the dish and made it hard to eat.

The service was also severely lacking. The guy who took my order was nice but didn’t motion for me to grab a water cup so I forgot to ask or look. I went to the counter to ask the girl who replaced him when he left and asked her. She didn’t say a single word despite looking at me and then I realized where they were myself.

She never asked how my food was even though I was the only in there and she walked by several times to fill soy sauce or clean a past diner’s table. It’s really not hard to just be friendly or ask a person how they like the food, especially when you tip them 20%. Then as she was cleaning the spices, she dropped the cap of one and it rolled across the floor. She didn’t clean it, just put the cap back on the bottle.

I was really disappointed overall and sadly won’t be back.

I had a review typed out of my family’s experience, but I lost it when my phone died. I’m just here to say that the food wasn’t great. The meat was either dry or it was old and not fresh. I wouldn’t recommend coming to Krave. You get more and better teriyaki at Sarku Japan at the mall. We were going to go there originally but decided to try something new. Paid $100 dollars plus the tip. I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be good just by the price for each meal we got.

The teriyaki chicken meal and the spicy chicken yakisoba was good. The yakisoba was so good. I’m not a fan of noodles but this meal was amazingly delicious. They serve a decent portion, enough for two meals or for two people making the price even more reasonable. The service was great. They are quick and polite. This experience was overall great. You should definitely swing by and try for yourself!

Food was fantastic. Fast service. Loved the top favs type of menu items. We really enjoyed what we ordered the layout of the place was very well planned. Macaroni salad was so good, the sauce/marinate for the meat was perfect as well. Will for sure come back when back in OKC since it’s on the way in and that means on the way out too

The food was satisfactory, but I believe there is room for improvement in terms of creativity and seasoning. I was somewhat underwhelmed by the overall presentation.

The food is fresh, consistent and tasty. Our fave is the stir fry w extra pork and extra veg. We also like the short ribs although they are a bit expensive. The chicken bites w spicy sauce make it into several of our orders (we usually order from their web page). This is a regular for us – except Sundays. They’re closed on Sundays and we seem to crave Krave on Sundays.

Nice small restaurant with a selection of what looks like Japanese Americanized food. Place was nicely decorated and clean. Ordered stir fried vegetables, rice, and tea. Order came out in short time and was nice n hot with a good aroma. Also delivered to my table was sriracha sauce and soy sauce. The flavors were wonderful. Enjoy eating here listening to the nice selection of music in the background. In the dining area they had 2 big lcd TVs with sound off, one with a food show and the other with business news. While eating I noticed most people we’re getting to go orders.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oklahoma City. The owner and staff are very friendly. The Yakisoba is very good, and the fried rice is one of the best I’ve ever had. The crispy chicken bites are always good too. Atmosphere is great, not too loud. They do not have any gluten free or dairy free options for my wife, which is the only reason we don’t come here more than we do already.

Very welcoming restaurant. Easy menu, nothing too complex like similar places. I enjoyed their egg rolls to start off with. Very crunchy and the dipping sauce is pairs nicely. Chicken bites were delicious. When I return, I’ll probably do chicken bites with a side of fried rice. Their chicken fried rice is a HUGE portion. They know you’ll have leftovers and offer convenient to-go boxes by the counter. I need to try another plate next time.
