Gianni’s is your neighborhood pizza shop, where you can grab a quick slice to your sit down classic chicken parmigiana. We try to make a traditional pizza with also other styles to offer Sicilian to pan styles, to also thin and crispy. We offer a lot of different toppings plus gourmet toppings as well. Gianni’s has endless options and we offer a lot on our menu, but like we said where part of the neighborhood and when dining in we try to make you feel as you are at home.

I was just back in town this week after being away for over a year. I stepped into Gianni’s, and Luca immediately recognized me in line, served me right away, and remembered details about my life — asking how Illinois is, how my work is going, everything.

Unfortunately we ordered a margarita pizza for delivery the night before leaving for a big trip. There were 6-7 shriveled pieces of basil, and we feel like we overpaid … disappointing to say the least. Take a look at the pic here and the false advertising, don’t go here!!

We always love Giannis but I decided to try the mysterious ‘chicken soup’. I don’t know if it’s because I’m sick or it’s really this good but I think this is the best soup I’ve ever had. Wasn’t expecting an elevated homemade chicken noddle.

Gianni’s has become my local go to joint for a great slice of pizza. Be it the tomato pie or the Grandma slice, no matter what you choose you can’t go wrong …plus they have Goldberg’s dark chocolate chews (3 for a dollar) at the front counter. The staff at Gianni’s couldn’t be nicer too (pop in and see for yourself)!

Pizza… JS4.1… Not much flavor… All three slices tasted like they were reheated microwave pizza’s. Crusts and undercarriage weren’t soggy, just blah.

As prices continue to rise, it’s increasingly important that food quality justifies the cost. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case tonight. The pizza arrived hot, the order was correct, and the staff was friendly, but the pizza itself fell short. It lacked flavor, the sauce was underseasoned, the cheese tasted low quality, and the crust was bland. Spending $40 on two pies, plus a few extra dollars for the counter staff, made the experience feel especially disappointing.

I wasn’t able to take my food from the counter and just sit down to eat, which I didn’t like. You had to have a server if you wanted to dine in. There were a lot of staff members working even though it wasn’t busy at all. The hot wing pizza and garlic knots were good, but the other pizza we tried was dry and lacked flavor.

I take pizza seriously and i try it from everywhere, i truelly care about getting a good pizza because it would be my last meal in life if i had the choice. Typically i get a plain pizza from everywhere to be fair and i also think thats what a pizza should be. I did get their pan pizza half with a drizzle of pesto. My rating is a D-. It was not only not good it was bad and i hate to say any pizza is bad. To be fair i only had this one time however i would also never go there again. The crust was like low quality bread, the cheese lower quality, and the sauce had a good consistency however was not above average. D- overall.
