The Tasty is easily one of the best meals in Massachusetts. Every single dish was an elevated experience. Our server Maria was so personable and knowledgeable about the food and ingredients, we wanted to try everything! The atmosphere is cozy, upscale casual. Good for adults, in groups of 2-4. We got the Soup de jour (miso root vegetable), Brussel sprouts, corn bread, duck dumplings and beef cheek. If you appreciate good, quality, locally sourced food, with intricate layered flavors, this is your spot in Plymouth. Can’t wait to try their sister cocktail bar, Honey Baby, for artisan cocktails.

A nice spot for lunch in Plymouth! The fried chicken sandwich, farmers grilled cheese, and grilled chicken sandwich were all tasty and both the fries and salad sides were good. The short rib flatbread was disappointing though, it felt way too doughy and didn’t have a lot of short rib. We were able to get a table right away and the waitress was friendly.

The tasty is our absolute favorite restaurant in town. We ate here twice in three days because it was so good! The service is excellent and the staff are all super friendly. The noodle night wings are a top 3 favorite wing for me all time. We will be back every Tuesday for noodle night and probably more often than that.

I’ve eaten at The Tasty about once a week for the past five years, and in that time I’ve rarely ordered the same thing twice in a row…and I’ve loved every single meal. Having lived in big cities, I was skeptical when I first moved from NYC to Plymouth that I’d find a restaurant as inventive and consistently impressive as The Tasty. But this place delivers every time. The kitchen is always creating fresh, thoughtful dishes, the cocktails are both creative and perfectly prepared, and the desserts are truly the best I’ve ever had. Whenever I bring guests who live in major food cities, they’re always amazed that Plymouth has a spot of this caliber.
The service deserves equal praise. The entire staff is warm and attentive. Adam always remembers our preferences and makes excellent pairing suggestions. Kaylia is not only friendly and thoughtful but also crafts outstanding cocktails. Maria is always a welcoming presence and provides top-notch service.
After more than 250 meals here, I sometimes pass by and see people hesitating at the door, and I feel compelled to say: don’t hesitate. The Tasty is a gem, and we’re lucky to have it right here in Plymouth.

My husband and I have been wanting to check out this spot for a while. We had a great experience for lunch. My husband is a chef and often times when we go out, he is left disappointed with the food. That was not the case for The Tasty! We got the Reuben and the pastrami sandwiches for lunch and they were absolutely phenomenal. The fries were perfectly crispy and salty as well. We actually haven’t stopped talking about how those were the best sandwiches we have ever had and we will absolutely be back for those alone. The vibe was great, super cozy. Drinks were also phenomenal and didn’t leave you questioning whether or not they actually contained liquor. Our server Maria was so funny and nice. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely one of the hidden gems downtown!

What can I say -The Tasty has out done themselves with a brand new menu starting tonight! From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted by happy welcoming people who made sure every step of the way we were enjoying our drinks& meals and made sure we wanted for nothing. To start off you have to try the cornbread it’s like no other – it’s moist and flavorful and they top it with honey butter with some flaked sea salt that was perfection- I licked my fingers to get every morsel it was so good. The duck dumplings are a classic dish for them and we devoured them they were scrumptious -so tender, flavorful and in a delicious broth. The street corn salad had a light lime dressing – not over powering and served on a bed of crunchy greens/ it really paired perfectly with everything else. Now for the main entrees beef cheek which was beyond tender no knife required to cut and coated in a decadent sauce that reminds me of a Moroccan/ Mexican sauce with a complimentary green chilies dipping sauce you want to drink and pickled onions- jalapeños and radishes that brings the dish all together. My brother got the noodles which are a classic favorite at the Tasty with tamari chicken, veggi slaw and peanuts. The desserts are all homemade so even though we were stuffed we had to get carrot cake to go. The frosting is not overly sweet and the cake is so moist you can see the carrots and pineapple in each mouthful of yummy goodness. We will be back to try more of the new menu- every table around us were saying how good their food was so you can’t go wrong with whatever you pick!!! Maria’s service was outstanding and helped made it a wonderful dining experience!

A gem. Location is great. Sat at the bar, Adam provided excellent service and was friendly and inviting. Ordered the Chicken Milanese. 100/100. Cooked to perfection, the spices, crust, sauce was the best. So good that me and my coworker returned and both ordered again during a 3 day business trip.

Discovered the Tasty on YouTube when researching restaurants for my very first trip to Plymouth! Amazing on every level. Food, staff, the amazing bartender who made the most incredible Old Fashion I have ever had. Don’t miss this place, if there is a wait , be patient, it is worth it. Such a cute restaurant! So happy we finally tried it! It had been on our list to try for awhile. The menu was wildly good, so many things I wanted so we’ll have to go back. I got the halibut, and my husband got the pork schnitzel, both so amazing! The cocktails were so tasty (haha) and cute! Some are batch made daily, which is fun and so smart! Can’t wait to go back and try more things! Our server Maria was wonderful, she gave great advice and we were never waiting for her.
