Korma meal and sambar were flavorful, delicious, and filling. Service was friendly and the food came out quick. The outside seating was a nice vibe with the lighting and palm trees everywhere. 10/10 would go again.

Worst dosa ever had in my life. I couldn’t even take a bite. It was just a plain dosa that I ordered. The batter is worst and chutney is made with spoiled coconut. The Sambar that we had to pay extra for, is with so raw masala’s. It’s not even a Sambar. The Sambar from India should be watery. Not blobby.
For the take out order, the guy served the dosa by rolling it in a napkin. Attached the pic. I have no idea how this got 4.2 stars. And we waited 30 mins for just 2 plain dosa.

Nirvana Indian Eat Out is a wonderful little gem for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in Maui. Though it’s a small, casual eat-out spot, the food is big on taste and freshness. The service is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. If you’re looking for delicious Indian food made with care and heart, Nirvana is absolutely worth a visit.

Listen there’s only 2 desi food spots in Maui, you can’t be too picky. Overpriced? Yes. Small portions? Yes. Still it’s pretty good considerably. 5/5 for Hawaii, 2/5 if comparing to places in the states.

Plain dosa and Masala dosa were delicious. Great consistency. Sambar and Coconut Chutney were authentic. It’s really interesting how he can bring the taste here!! You don’t miss the Chennai dosa!!

Jason the owner is awesome. Food is authentic. I live in Honolulu and none of the Indian restaurants serve dosa over there. Samosa is good and so is the coconut chutney. We also had the sambar which can be made spicy. Will be back.

Wanted to eat Indian so decided to try out this place. Limited menu. Got the samosa and dosa plate. Not very satisfying and authentic. The dosa was okay. The samosa wasn’t great but a quick fix for Indian mood!
