My husband and I recently tried this outstanding restaurant, and it exceeded every expectation! I ordered the blackened catfish over dirty rice, and he had the jerk beef short ribs over garlic mashed potatoes. Both plates were absolutely amazing. My husband kept saying, “These ribs are fork-tender!” Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked beautifully.
The ambiance was warm and inviting—perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the owner/chef personally coming to our table to have a genuine conversation with us. He was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious New Orleans–style menu in Bogalusa!

Na Bougez is an absolute Gem in Bogalusa. The food is beyond amazing from the jerk lamb chops that are tender and full of flavor, to the blackened catfish that’s perfectly seasoned, to the shrimp pasta that’s rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Every bite tastes like love and passion went into it. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm, and welcoming, the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and great vibes. The service is friendly, the presentation is top-notch, and everything about this place says quality. If you haven’t been to Na Bougez yet, you’re missing out. Na Bogue’s feels more like an upscale restaurant in the French Quarter than small town dining. What a great addition to our community. The owner is often there and he is very detail oriented. Service was excellent. Thursday night is steak night. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I found this little diamond in Bogalusa while out taking a ride. Do not let the surrounding area fool you. Stop in. You will not be disappointed. The restaurant is very beautiful, clean, food is fabulous with wonderful service.
