My husband and I stopped here on our way back to Muskegon, a bit out of the way, but well worth it. The menu had really good choices. The prices are great. The service was super friendly. I really like that the diner is decorated in pictures donated from Service Members, many in uniform. The establishment was clean and welcoming.

My family loves Maxine’s breakfast. The corned beef hash omelet is slow cooked corned beef – not from a can. So good! They have English muffin toast too! My husband and son always are satisfied. Big plus is that they have sufficient and friendly wait staff so you don’t wait forever for your meal.

We all had a fantastic breakfast today at Maxine’s. The omelettes were cooked to perfections. Fluffy with a consistent color and texture.
My corned beef hash &Swiss omelette had plenty of flavor. And I usually need jelly for my toast, but the raisin toast was delicious just how it came buttered.

Quaint little breakfast/lunch joint a few blocks or so from the main drag in Sparta. Super friendly and fast service, our food came out within 10 minutes or so. Highly recommend their burgers, I had the Jenni Lynn burger and my wife had the Cowboy burger, both well made and tasty and their fries are a nice steak style and all the food came out smoking hot.
