This Chinese restaurant is Really tasty, authentic food. The service is very thoughtful, and the portions are generous. Most importantly, they can adjust the saltiness and spiciness according to your preference. I will definitely come back and try something else next time.

Amazing dry pepper tofu – tons of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Mapo tofu also available vegetarian and mouth numbingly good. Service is quick, and polite. Everything I’ve had here exceeds my expectations.

I don’t usually share but I ordered a few dishes that are particular for their ingredients, particular noodles, spices, and very obvious not MSG or instant kitchen kind of slop. This was Dan Dan noodles which were obviously some dried Italian pasta. The chow fun beef was not made the very particular fresh noodles, but egg noodles off the supermarket shelf. Sweet and sour soup left my mouth with a chicken powder or maybe even Cup o Noodles flavoring. Again, I never complain, but this alone is very misleading. BTW, was a cook at places like Buddakan.

I’ve passed this place so many times and finally stopped and I’m glad we did. The food is amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Everything on the menu looks good and Diana helped suggest what to order. All of the food is extremely flavorful and aromatic. The wood ear mushroom & pepper sauce is very refreshing and is a nice palette cleanser, had some spicy cucumber added to it and it was fantastic. We were also recommended the fried pork belly with leek which has a nice sweet and slightly peppery spice. Lastly the family stew is incredible. It has beef, shrimp, fish, leek, chili, pretty much ever flavor you can imagine with a nice spicy oily broth, one of the most flavorful Chinese dishes I’ve had. We will definitely be coming back, there was not a single thing I could complain about.

I visited this restaurant with my colleagues for lunch on January 16, 2026, at around 1:15 pm. We placed our order and were waiting to start our meal when one of my friends politely asked for chili oil, as she enjoys spicy food. What happened next was shocking and completely unacceptable.

The waiter responded with extreme rudeness. He refused to provide chili oil and made offensive, racially charged remarks, including saying that “you Indians always request extra oil.” His tone and behavior were hostile, and he even used abusive language.

When we tried to address the issue with two women who appeared to be employees, he interrupted and insisted that we speak only to him, claiming he was “the boss.” His behavior made us feel deeply uncomfortable and disrespected.

Because of this unprofessional and discriminatory treatment, we left the restaurant without eating our lunch. This experience was extremely disappointing and concerning, and no customer should ever be subjected to such behavior.

Today around 1:30 PM, I went to a restaurant called Ping Pong with two friends. We ordered six to seven vegetarian lunch items and asked for chili oil. The staff member refused, saying chili oil does not come for free. We told him we were willing to pay extra, but he still refused and continued arguing. During the interaction, he made inappropriate comments about Indian religion and said things like “you people like to eat spicy food,” while insisting that as the owner he could refuse to give it. Despite us being paying customers, he was rude, yelled, and insulted us in front of other customers, making the experience extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful.

Disappointing experience.

We had a reservation made well in advance and reconfirmed by phone the day before. When we arrived, we were told the kitchen couldn’t accommodate us due to a large order. This was never communicated ahead of time.

This appears to be a management issue, yet the inconvenience was passed on to the customer. The interaction lacked professionalism, and no apology was offered. We were also told we arrived “too early,” even though 12:30 PM is a standard lunch time.

Would not return or recommend.

Been a long time customer between all ownership changes and now back to the original owner. Price increase in the menu have far outpaced inflation. Quality of food we get every time has been hit or miss. Might finally be the last time we get food from this place.

We came here for Szechuan food by the recommendation of a coworker when we were traveling for work.

We went with a large group and everyone shared everything. Some of the things we tried were: hot pot style beef, dry chili pepper style fish, Kung Pao style tofu, Kung Pao style shrimp, Dan Dan noodles, scallion pancakes, double cooked pork, pickled chili pepper style pork, minced pork, fish soup, and a rabbit peanut dish.

My favorite things were the scallion pancakes, hot pot style beef, dry chili pepper style fish, Kung Pao style tofu, and double cooked pork.

One thing we found weird was that the Dan Dan noodles were made with linguine. Someone who had had them here previously said they used to be a different noodle.

The one thing that turned me off about this place was the service. Before we were seated, we asked for a table for 8 and asked if we could have separate checks. We were told we could split the check if we wanted to. When it came time to pay, they told us we could only use 2 credit cards. We pushed back because they told us we could before we were seated. Eventually, they let us this time, but said next time we couldn’t. It felt like they lied to us originally just so we would come in and eat with them because they had a policy of not splitting checks.

While I enjoyed the food, I don’t think I will be back because of how they handled the check situation. If you don’t split checks, just say that up front.
