Social Profile:

If you can’t spot the Pink Pony Pub when you hit the main drag in Gulf Shores, it’s likely that you’re not legal to drive! Our not-so-large beachfront restaurant and bar boast an oh-so-defiantly pink exterior with a belly-up-to-the-bar pony painted on the outside. Think the color pink of fresh bubble gum or 90 percent of Barbie’s wardrobe. We’re hard to miss! We’re a beachfront seafood restaurant and local landmark that has proudly served Gulf Shores since 1956! Enjoy fresh caught Gulf shrimp and oysters, burgers, gumbos, buffalo wings, sandwiches, daiquiris and more at our unique, beachside restaurant and bar.

Late-night party spot featuring seafood & bar bites in casual digs perched right on the sand.

I’ll start by saying the food and drinks were good. Our server was good, but not friendly. I love crab cakes, so naturally thats what I ordered. $21 on the menu- no problem. Then she says it DOESNT COME WITH A SIDE!! That was an expensive crab!! We chose to eat here because we were staying at the hotel there, but I dont believe we would choose here again if not for that. The red lights on the patio gave off the strangest hue and made all our food look funny.

Fun Beach Bar, actually on the Beach! Food was delicious. They do have outdoor seating, but it was filled when we went. Parking is Pay in the lots next door. You can park for free across the street. Busy place so you may have a wait.
But worth it

John was our server and was amazing! Not too much, not too little. I had the cheeseburger on sourdough and it was definitely a hit. My sister got the nachos(great shareable plate) and tasted wonderful. A must in Gulf Shores!!!

We stopped here while spending time at the Gulf Shores beach. Cute pink building close by to the beach, with a nice view. The staff was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. My group and I all really liked our food. They got fried gulf shrimp and blackened gulf shrimp. The hush puppies were delicious. The best any of us have had anytime recently. The fries were seasoned and perfectly crispy. I ordered the blackened fish basket and it was as delicious as I could’ve hoped for.

I love the old school beach vibe! They aren’t trying to be fancy. They just want to serve great food and beer. The service, food, and beer selection (my IPA was canned) were perfect! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stopped in here for a drink and loved the atmosphere. Our server Matt was so friendly and he made the best strawberry daiquiri I’ve ever had! Super reasonable prices as well. Definitely recommend!!

We came across this place when looking for somewhere to eat on the beach. Before being seated the hostess informed us they were out of about a third of the menu items. We decided to stay since there wasn’t a wait. The food, service, and indoor atmosphere was ok. The outdoor atmosphere was better because of the view of the beach and ocean. The seating indoors was plastic folding chairs and tables, outdoors was wooden picnic tables. They were not the most comfortable but I guess that is the look they were going for. The location right on the beach is pretty much what this place has going for it.

We were super excited to try this cute place directly on the beach. We had a beautiful view of the sunset, but the food was not good. I had the and it was bland, like it had no seasoning. My husband had the shrimp po’boy and he had the same issue, it was bland. We ate half our meals and left once the sun went down. Cute pink place on the beach but food was a miss.

Great place! The drinks are AMAZING!!! Highly recommend the Bob Marley and key lime colada! The burger of the month was a pimento cheese burger with fried green tomato and I loved it! The grilled fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Not to mention the best fried pickles I’ve had in a long time! Not too salty but very tasty!!! Staff was mostly friendly and happy to answer questions. The food took about 40 minutes to come out but the place was packed and the drinks and appetizer came quick. The patio is amazing and has a beautiful view of the pier

Located right on the beach!! The food was really good!! My husband got the crab cakes and said they were to die for!!!! I was a little surprised about the crab claw basket when we got the receipt since it didn’t have the price on the menu. $45 for a crab claw basket seemed a bit pricey but my niece enjoyed it. The service was not great since it was a very busy place. It took a long time to get food, or to get refills. Make sure you go a little early so u can get on their wait list to get in too.
