This a great place to get solid American bar food. Wings were incredible. The Sweet chili Thai flavor was on point. Chicken sandwich was ok. Sweet patato fries and onion rings were both some of the best I’ve had in Charlotte. I was very happy with the food. This would be a great place to come enjoy good food and watch the game.

Buddy and I popped in Friday night for something to eat. Ed’s was busy so we struggled to find a place to park but inside we found plenty of open tables with lots of TV’s to watch games on.
Good atmosphere. You pick out your own seat so had to flag down a server. Once we got her attention, she was great. Instead of ordering meals we ordered wings and two of the dips (buffalo chicken and spinach artichoke). The apps were tasty and we enjoyed our visit.
The next day we wanted to grab a quick lunch and watch some of the early football games so we actually went back to Ed’s. Again, parking lot was packed and had to park next door at Food Lion, but was able to get a table no problem. Ordered the appetizer sampler which had five of the appetizers included and ordered some of the chicken bites with a sweat Tai sauce. Again, food was really good and we had great service. Didn’t get the servers name so wish they would have told us so we could give them a shout out.
Ed’s is a great place to go watch games. Had four different college games on when we were there and lots of fans cheering when their team did something positive.
Great place to hang out and neither of drink alcohol.

I love everything I have eaten at Ed’s Tavern. A lot of typical bar food except it is all really good. The spinach artichoke is the best I have ever had anywhere w/ warm pita chips!! Oh and the pimp dip & buffalo dip is awesome too! Philly cheese steak, buffalo chicken, burgers, wings … all good. I’ve made myself hungry. I’m headed to Ed’s Tavern.

My coworkers and I love coming here for lunch—it’s super convenient with plenty of parking in the back, large patio with fans, and the service is always quick. The salad portions are huge, definitely enough to share or take some back to the office. Another bonus is that it’s close to a great local bar in Southend/Dilworth

If I walk up to the staff and admit I messed up my order, and the first response I get is, “Well, what do you want me to do? I have other tables to wait on,” that’s a problem. Most of us have worked in the restaurant industry and understand that the customer comes first. Not a great night for Kirstie.

Love this place. Tons of tvs. Great drink specials, check website for daily deals. Their soda is really good! And beer prices are low for Charlotte standards. Great prices! We also order chicken tender meal. Ranch, honey muster all good! Parking is little difficult, we came late at night. I’m not sure where you can park at. We found spot out front.

The food was good, but the way we were treated at the end of the night completely ruined the experience. The establishment states it closes at 2:00 AM. After three rounds of drinks and food, around 12:55 AM, we were asked to hurry up and leave ,,, despite still being within operating hours.
The lights were blinked multiple times, and one employee continuously stared at us in an unwelcoming way. As we were leaving, a staff member made a rude remark saying, “We’ve been closed, you should’ve left.” This was confusing and uncomfortable, considering it wasn’t even 1:00 AM yet.
We had already ordered an Uber because we had been drinking and were trying to be responsible. Being rushed out into cold weather under those circumstances felt unnecessary and unprofessional.

The bacon cheeseburger was very damn good at medium well!! I had wanted to go healthy on the side dish and chose spinach as my side dish. It was seasoned well.
Be aware is a sports bar so you going to hear people yell. But it’s on good fun.

Been meaning to go here for a while and it did not disappoint, one of the nicer patios / vibes in this area. $3 tacos are a steal for their size and quality. Weekly trivia on offer as well as super fast WiFi.
