I know this place has been here for a VERY long time, I remember seeing it as a kid. That being said, husband and I stop for our first try today. Ordered breakfast to go, we were going to take it right down to the park and eat because we have our little dog with us. Amount of food you get for the price is great! Taste of food was also great. (Definitely a home cooked taste, yum!) Everyone was friendly, cook (poor guy doesn’t have much room to move back in the corner) and two ladies. We just wish they had to-go cups and silverware. (We just know for next time). Overall, we may visit again for something different. (Lunch, supper)

When we were there the Oak Grove Tavern had a popular band. The bar is small and the crowd overwhelmed the available parking. Never the less, the wait staff was friendly and took care of us without delay. Had a great time.

Yea, we won’t be back. It’s a small, rundown, outdated “hole in the wall” place kinda in the middle of nowhere that has a bad atmosphere. Not sure how it originally had a 4.5 on Google to be honest. It has roughly 12 tables that seat 4. It’s small. The service wasn’t the best but our server got inundated at the bar causing lengthy delays in ordering (I actually went to the bar to get another beer versus waiting for her to get back to us). The food was not very good either. The pizza tasted like it was a basic frozen cheese pizza that they put pepperoni on before putting it in the oven. My girlfriend’s BLT wasn’t bad and they did try to accommodate her request for softer bacon (hence the 2 vs 1 stars) but it still wasn’t great. She said it upset her stomach.

One of the best friendly atmosphere’s to be in. Great service,food,and drinks. They also have a steak night which is one of the best steaks in Ohio. Definitely would recommend this bar and grill.

We stopped by after a walk at Batelle Darby Metro park. We ordered an Italian sub with fries. The Sub was toasted with a great flavor and the fries were hot and crisp. highly recommend if you want a beer and sandwich.

French Fries were delicious. Ham & Cheese sub was very good. Huge slab of bologna also delicious . Took a little while to get food but it was worth it. Waitress was great!
