I had some guests visiting and we all had a positive experience at this restaurant. We got a chicken, beef, and goat curry. Along with rice and naan. Each curry was delicious but lacked salt, which isn’t bad, we didn’t mind adding salt to our liking. The clay pots that the curry came in definitely added to the experience! Would recommend this place and I will be coming back!

Well this review is not a typical review regarding food. This is just the appreciation towards the Owner who recently visited Saudi Arabia on a business trip. Mr. Murshad is indeed an inspiration for Enterpuners, business minded communities. People get. Motivation from him. And wel all highly appreciate his efforts to promote and encourage people towers business initiatives. We had a great time spent with him during his latest visit. May Allah keep you under His blessings.

My first time having Pakistani food, just top notch goodness. So much flavor , chicken tikka masala was phenomenal. Those little bowls of sauces were incredible. I can’t wait for my next visit to try something different. Nice restaurant with easy street parking.

The place serves delicious Pakistani/Afghani food. One should definitely consider visiting while exploring towns around the Niagara Falls.
I’d recommend their Chicken Handi and Goat Biryani. Kulfa-Faluda was also decent.

Their curries can sometimes ooze excessive oil, wish they could cut it down.
The place can get a bit crowded and noisy during rush hours.

An underwhelming Experience!!
Clay Handi fell short of expectations in several areas, leaving me with an underwhelming dining experience.
Firstly, the cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to par. This immediately created a negative impression and raised concerns about the overall hygiene standards.
Secondly, the service was lacking in attentiveness. The server did not bother to ask where we preferred to have the hot clay pots placed and simply found an empty spot on the table, potentially creating a safety hazard.
The food itself was mediocre. I tried the Paneer Tikka Masala and Goat Biryani, both of which were just okay. The flavors were not particularly memorable, and the dishes lacked the richness and depth I was hoping for.
However, I must say that eating dinner served in a clay pot was a unique and enjoyable experience. Plus, the mango lassi was fresh and delicious, and they certainly didn’t skimp on the portion size.
After reading positive reviews online, I had high hopes for Clay Handi. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to the hype. The combination of subpar cleanliness, inattentive service, and average food made for an underwhelming experience.

An incredible and unique experience!! The food is amazing and even the water tasted better in clay. Highly recommend! Should be considered for a Michelin star. The owner is incredible kind too, stops by your table to greet you and that is super kind special!

Recommend the chai, the nihari, and chicken tikka masala. Great gift shop in the back! The decorations at the restaurant are very tasteful too. Will definitely be back. I would drive 5 hour for this place forreal for this Pakistani food.

We were visiting from Houston and found this place. Saw good reviews and wanted to test the food and I am glad we did! Food was very good and ambience was beautiful with clay pots, plates and glasses. Highly recommend chicken handi and goat karahi. Met the cook and owner Nazia. She and her staff were very friendly. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Will be coming back again they also sell clay pottery if anyone is interested in buying.

Food is very very tasty. Never eat this much tasty food before in USA. Nazia and Wahab employees are so kind and hospitable. We feel like we are eating food at home. We love to come here again and again. Price is very very normal and the food portion is super good.

I just cannot believe how can anyone give this place less than 5 stars because they really deserve 10. Anyone who comes to the US side of Niagara must come here!!! I went there with my family of 6 and anything and everything we ordered from appetizers to desserts was phenomenal. We live in Toronto and this place is better than any Indian or Pakistani restaurant in Toronto. The service was another level from Kauser and her team. It is the best I’ve ever had. Keep up the good work <3

Sorry, but to my experience dine in is not recommended. We drove all the way to this place hoping to find good food. The staff who handles the order didn’t even check on us. Made us sit with the menu for 15-20 mins. We couldn’t wait much longer so we had to call him out to take our order. 10 mins later food arrived. Food was good. But the rest wasn’t that great ex: tables were so high, seating arrangements are bad, food served in small bowls, and big spatulas to dig in. No proper serving dishes/spoons used, it was so uncomfortable to sit as well as to eat. I understand they are trying to match the ambience but how are you supposed to eat biryani in little saucers ? Yes like other reviewers there were flies and you can see fly traps everywhere.
