This restaurant with a dock and view was a great stop in Jamestown! It was a little surprising to find it nestled between buildings past the parking lot… it’s a bit out-of-the-way and you wouldn’t just randomly come across it. The food was delicious, the staff super friendly and efficient, and I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique non-chain sort of dining experience in Jamestown. The atmosphere is old school, and felt homey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I had a fish fry and it was simply wonderful. The batter was perfect, crispy but still light and delicate. My husband had a sirloin and it was tender and just fell apart in your mouth. Everybody was friendly and pleasant and the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommend!

Lovely dining experience here. We arrived about one hour before closing. Our meal was relaxed and not rushed. I had the smothered Haddock and my husband’s had an Anchor burger. Both were delicious. I also had a slice of homemade dessert, Coconut Dream.

Oh my goodness, an amazing meal! We were just at the Main Laning restaurant in Celeron. There were 10 of us and each meal was delicious. Service was wonderful and everything came out hot and all at once. Steaks, stuffed fish, chicken parm, all excellent. And then we couldn’t resist ordering dessert, which we don’t usually do!! We’ve been talking about it all since we left.

The food was okay. I wanted a piece of fish and a veg…not too hard. $16 okay. I was pressured several times to have a alcoholic beverage or “homemade” dessert. I like both, but didn’t need to be asked 6 times. Then when I went to pay the bill I was upcharged for my veg, which on the menu clearly stated it was included. When confronted the owner said…”I’ll give you a dollar” I will gladly pay what was described on the menu. WOW.

I’ve dined at The Main Landing many times now with my wife and the experience is always excellent. The food is delicious and the staff are professional and attentive — special shoutout to Donna our server, who always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome, every time we have her we have an amazing time. The owner is friendly as well. Lovely atmosphere and great for date nights or family dinners.

First time ordering. Ordered online for pickup. The cashier had an attitude and requested I pay, I explained I paid online and showed proof and she still had an attitude. Got home, sat down to eat with my family, the portions are small compared to everywhere else, and more expensive. My sons mashed potatoes were overcooked and disgusting, my husband’s fish was raw. We will never be coming back.
