Great variety of food, and this is definitely my go to spot for fried chicken. Everything is usually on point, but I’m giving 4 stars because the catfish was a little too fried and didn’t compare as well to other spots.

I’m a big fan of this place. It’s a fried chicken buffet. How could you go wrong. They have lots of options on the buffet. Fried gizzards, chicken livers, Buffalo wings, fried fish, baked chicken, and chicken tenders. And those are a lot of my favorites. They also have gumbo. Plus all the sides like collared greens, beans, rice, cabbage, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with white and brown gravy, and really, really good yeast rolls. The ice cream is just ok, but it goes great with the peach cobbler and bread pudding. All of this plus a full salad bar with fresh salad, dressing, coleslaw, and the usual dressing plus tartar and cocktail sauce. Jello and pudding are out there, too. They have a drive-through that’s always busy, and lots of staff making sure that the restaurant is taken care of inside and out. This location is the one closest to my house, and it’s a regular spot for us. A great place to bring your kids because they will definitely find something they will like. If you don’t like buffets, they have a regular menu that you can pick and choose whatever you want. If you’re a fan of fried chicken and like a great choice of sides, this place should be on your list. It’s a favorite of mine, and I dream of fried chicken.

Just left hartz on palmer, I ordered a gizzard livers mix. So after I order someone else comes along and ordered well done livers. So after waiting an extended length of time I get my food and go home and lo and behold every liver in my meal burnt. I called and spoke with the manager and told to bring the livers back not the gizzards so they are only replacing the livers not the whole order so hot liver and cold gizzards. I normally enjoy Hartz but never been to a location that changes your order to match an order for someone else or just replace the whole order.A decent manager would have handled it properly. Anyway the gizzards were good as for the livers tried one and they taste like they look trash.

The food wasn’t that great the entire place was filthy. The bathrooms were worst than a nasty gas station bathroom. My partner had none stop diarrhea after we were done eating there. Most of the employees were just standing around. Would never go back. The place is a dump. The cob webs and return ac vent looked liked it had year’s of dirt build up , never cleaned even the ceiling fans were filthy..The manager needs fired and need new employees that want to work and take pride in their work…..

Don’t go to this location on a weekend when the young people are running it. Smart mouths. I was at the drive thru and drove to League City instead of ordering here. These young people need to learn how to talk to people.

This was my first time going here. I made a mistake and ordered, at the wrong place. Once I got home my food was a disappointment. My gravy tasted like it was burnt. The tenders was so small ,the one I go to in dickinson you get big chicken tenders worth ur money for sure. Just the food wasn’t good at all. I will make sure I don’t make another mistake when ordering. I definitely won’t be going back to them.
