I’m honestly disappointed with my experience at Charleys Philly Steaks – Edison Mall. My sandwich looked like it was thrown together with zero care. The meat was messy and unevenly chopped, the cheese was barely melted in spots and clumped in others, and the whole thing was falling apart before I even picked it up.
It didn’t look fresh or appetizing — more like scraps piled onto bread. For a place that’s supposed to specialize in cheesesteaks, the quality and presentation were seriously lacking. When you’re paying for a hot sub, you expect it to at least look properly made.
Definitely not the standard I was expecting, and I’ll be thinking twice before ordering from this location again.

Charley’s Cheesesteak is basically a mall food court staple offering sandwiches, fries, and drinks. While I have had better cheesesteak sandwiches in my life, Charley’s does satisfy. The sandwiches could be a bit bigger but they do taste great and the workers will load them up upon request. Fries are hot, crispy, and fresh, both in regular and cajun styles. I found some great money saving deals through the Charley’s apps. Certainly recommended!

I hate leaving bad reviews but here we go. I ordered from this place for my kids via uber eats. We were missing a Buffalo chicken Philly and the Philly cheese steak had no steak in it. Unfortunately, we won’t be ordering again. Uber eats did give us a refund so that was good.also, I did try calling the store to give them the chance to make it write but the.m number listed on google doesn’t work.

Delicious sandwich. They were busy and weee still pretty quick considering. Friendly staff, condiments at the end where pick up is. Lots of options in the food court but this is the place for sandwiches. Will return.

15 minutes for a cheese steak! 4 orders ahead of me. It has been quite some time since I have witnessed this level of lazyness and incompetence. There was a lot of standing around by staff, except cook. This operation could run on 3 efficient employees, they had 6 and it was a disaster. Fries are made and then left on top of a machine, no heat lamp. This technique assures cold fries.

Good food stop when shopping in the Edison Mall or anywhere close to the Mall. The Philly cheese steak Sandwich I had was big for a medium size and excellent tasting. I have also tried the Philly cheese chicken and it was just as good. I definitely recommend you try a philly cheese the next you’re in the area.

Used to love it here. Fries were cold. Sandwich fell apart and had to us a fork…bread was everywhere. A1 was so runny it was obviously watered down. I wasn’t even given a tray to carry my food to a table. Had to make 2 trips, leaving my food exposed to who knows what.
Quality and customer service has gin out the window.
