It took a while, but I finally got here while they were open for lunch (which seems a bit spotty). That being said, it’s a cozy place with friendly staff, and the food is great. It might be the tastiest Thai food in GR, and I was very happy with my meal. I had green curry with chicken, and it had great flavor with just enough heat. The vegetables complemented the meat, and there was plenty of herbal brightness. I also enjoyed a glass of Thai iced tea. I’d love to eat here more often, and I look forward to my next visit.

I tried the curry fried rice with egg and it was absolutely delicious! Since I went for a late lunch, the place wasn’t too crowded, and the short 10–15 minute wait was actually reassuring that the food was fresh and made to order. The customer service was great, and I loved that they offer clear vegetarian options. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and was delighted by the variety of options. I chose chicken peanut curry with rice and it was excellent. I requested mild spice, and enjoyed the subtle hint of it in my meal. The fresh vegetables and tasty peanut sauce made for an exceptional dish.

4/13/2019 – This visit we had Basil chicken and house special coconut res curry with shrimp & chicken. As always, the favor is spot on, however the veggies felt like frozen ones, especially carrot and beans.

Stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago, and was not disappointed. Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are fantastic! The spice levels appear to be true Thai heat instead of Americanized, which is what we were looking for. After trying a few other Thai restaurants in the area, Nu-Thai Bistro is our #1, we will definitely be back.

Loved the pineapple rice and Thai iced tea! They were the closest to what I’ve had in Bangkok of anywhere I’ve tried in the U.S. The crab Rangoon were savory and delicious. I wish I lived closer to come more often!

I discovered Nu Thai Bistro 16 years ago when I moved to Grand Rapids. This incredible woman-owned restaurant is not only adorably decorated but has amazingly delicious food. The service here with its tiny staff and incredible chefs is beyond incredible.

Nu Thai Bistro has been around for about ten years or so. It’s always been very tasty. The pad Thai tastes amongst the best in Grand Rapids. For restaurant papaya salad, it’s delicious. The flavor from the fish sauce isn’t overwhelming but still provides the right amount of flavor. The peanut curry noodle here is my favorite. The flat, wide noodles are smothered in a thick peanut curry sauce that leaves your mouth happy. The one negative thing to say is their service is not always the best. I’ve almost not come back because of it at times but the flavor brings me back time and time again.

We got the Chicken Pad Thai and Pad Thai 3’s Company with Medium spice level. The spice level was perfect! The waitress was kind, and the decorations inside were nice. Definitely recommend!
