The club was the best I have ever had, hands down. I don’t know exactly what it was but it was incredible. I think it was a smoked cheese that made the difference. The fries were really good as well. The side salad was very fresh. The onions and cucumbers were great tasting. You could tell they had been cut very recently. The Mac and cheese was OK. I did not care for it as there was a cheese flavor that was not hitting right, but that was after my meal and I 1 bite.

Nice atmosphere but staffers were a little apathetic. Mac & cheese egg roll was bland. The strawberries field greens salad had a lot of potential but they miss the mark: they put a whole bag of raisins in it. The bowl is so tightly packed you can’t toss and mix it well. I had to ask for a smaller salad bowl or plate to dress my salad in. The best the server could get was a saucer for a tea cup. Not worth the money.

First time visit. Everything was great. Fries and tots were great. Kids had meatball subs and devoured them. Wife had club and liked it. Mac and cheese upgrade was the down point. Not a bad taste but couldn’t figure it out. Was expecting something really creamy (Melt). That was only disappointment.

We were passing by Huntsville and googled for popular restaurants. Melt came up and we gave it a try. In a nutshell, if Melt is the best that Huntsville has to offer from food perspective, then what they say about Birmingham being much better is totally true. The atmosphere was great and so were the service. But the food was average and without much character. The Reuben could be one of the worst I’ve ever had: barely ANY meat on it. Also no or minimal 1000 island dressing… It was a joke. Side tomato and cucumber salad was old and tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days. The fried food was good, the tater tots and pickles were fried to perfection and fresh. Beer selection was good. Service was acceptable. But the sandwiches were definitely soulless and tasteless. Melt as a restaurant has a long ways to go if they want to be a top representation of this otherwise cute city.

Love the open atmosphere! We shared fried pickles and they were the delicious! Easily the best part of our meal. I had a Rueben with Tots. The Rueben was full of flavor, but I thought the sauerkraut had an odd taste. I can’t remember if my wife got the chicken pesto or the bacon ranch with fries. She liked it! The fries and tots came out hot and tasty! I would return to try other menu items.

We loved this place!! It was our first visit and the food was delicious and the service was excellent!! Our server Lara was so helpful offering recommendations and taking great care of us while Shelly the hostess was super welcoming and was very accommodating with our seating request. I enjoyed the pesto chicken sandwich and my husband loved the meatball sub! They have a fun little outside play area for the kids and overall it is just a fun place to hang out! The drink selection was awesome too! I really enjoyed the pear cider!! We will definitely be back!!
