Had a wonderful dinner at WAKUDA MBS. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The tuna appetizer was fresh and light, the sashimi platter was outstanding, and the wagyu makimono was rich and perfectly balanced. The lobster tempura was crisp and delicious, and the Basque cheesecake was a perfect ending. The sake paired well with the meal and elevated the whole experience.

Service was attentive, atmosphere was elegant, and the overall experience felt truly special. Highly recommended for a refined Japanese dining experience in Singapore.

We’ve walked by this place many times before but never decided to try it, mostly because we usually stick to Chinese food when we’re here. I’m really glad we finally gave it a chance because everything was so good.

The spicy tuna was a standout. It came in a moon-shaped presentation and tasted amazing. The Caesar salad with wasabi dressing surprisingly didn’t taste like wasabi at all, but it was still really delicious and well balanced. The sashimi platter was fresh and high quality, and the tuna with caviar was especially yummy.

The drinks were festive and tasty, and the space itself is really nice. It’s tucked inside a kiosk-style area at Marina Bay Sands and feels stylish but relaxed. The servers were friendly and attentive throughout.

Overall, a great experience and a pleasant surprise. Definitely worth stepping outside our usual food choices, and I’d happily come back.

With its well-curated menu, stylish ambience, and excellent service, Wakuda feels like an elevated izakaya.

Food was great all around. We had the Lobster Quinoa set, sukiyaki (ala carte), and Big Eye Tuna to start. Every dish felt thoughtfully done with high-quality, fresh ingredients.

The sukiyaki stood out—beautifully presented and made with Kagoshima wagyu that was very tender with minimal fat. The sauce was rich but well balanced by the egg yolk. A nice twist was the shishito peppers at the base, which added an unexpected but pleasant touch.

The Lobster Quinoa was also a highlight. Cooked in a style similar to Japanese garlic fried rice, but the quinoa gave it more texture and little bursts of bite. Lobster meat was generous and sweet.

Service deserves a special mention. The reception ladies were warm and cheerful, and the service staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly without being intrusive.

I’d noted it was a birthday during reservation (didn’t expect anything), and was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary tiramisu. It looked great and tasted even better—honestly enjoyed it more than the banana cake from the set meal.

Overall, a great spot whether for a casual meal or a special occasion. Solid food, top service, and good value for money.

Had a really lovely time here. The staff were super attentive and gave great food recommendations — everything we ordered was spot on.

What really impressed us was the surprise birthday cake. We didn’t even mention it in advance, but they somehow picked up on it and brought out a complimentary cake. Such a thoughtful touch.

Great food, warm service, and a memorable evening. Would definitely come back.

Had a wonderful dinner at Wakuda — truly worth the splurge. Our bill came up to about $400 for two, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared.

We ordered the assorted tempura, flan, marinated chicken, classic saikyo yaki, and the grilled A5 wagyu sukiyaki. The quality and flavours were consistently impressive, with the cod fish being the standout — fresh, flavourful, tender, and incredibly satisfying.

We ended the meal with their signature coconut soft serve and a scoop of pink salt Hokkaido milk gelato — the perfect refreshing finish.

Great ambience, attentive staff, and beautifully executed dishes. Highly recommend for a special night out

I feel like I was in culinary wars season 2. The symphony of favours from the cocktail sashimi, shabu beef, 5 day aged tuna, delicious seaweed hand rolls, to the grapefruit dessert – Chef Kenji and May took such good care of us. Even the roasted red miso soup and green tea was of good quality.

This is my favourite Omakase in Singapore hands down. Will be back as they change flavours every 5-7 weeks!

Ambience nice, though a bit too dark and noisy with small kids, not the best place for quiet talk.
Japanese sweet corn very good. Tempura platter so-so.
Fried squid good, but only with the Yuzu mayo sauce.
Beef tenderloin at medium was tasty though slightly undercooked.
Wagyu rice bowl is excellent, by far the best dish, though portion is very small.
The lobster fried quinoa supposedly the signature dish but sadly not Umami and too expensive.
Overall we wouldn’t make a trip especially to dine there again, unless invited by a very rich friend.

We celebrated our anniversary here and booked the Omakase dinner. The set was really good and fresh! The chef explained each dish in detail and even chatted with us throughout the meal, which made the experience even more special. He surprised us with a complimentary uni roll, and since it was our anniversary, the restaurant also treated us to a free dessert. We truly enjoyed the meal, and I felt the food was well worth the price!

Light dimming was really soft n not too dark especially during dinner time.
Thanks to front staff outside the restaurant who serve every walk in r reservation guests with a smile which make my mum n me wanna dine in even for happy hour/ bar snacks. Was told 1700 is dinner hours then we last minute decided to had early dinner and didn’t had to rush n chill for celebration dinner as it’s my birthday month. Really biggest shoutout to sweet and beautiful Nazel she really was patiently explaing the type of food as is our 1st time here.
Really glad for the yuzu+lychee sorbet n also my mum love her matcha ice cream heard that they made it fresh.
Also to the Indian male coat server who take time to explained whicc tea to order. (Many definitely ordered alcohol but we still stick to non alcoholic drinks)
Salmon dish which I forget the name of it was really grill well seasoned too (paired it with rice) not sure why but felt that mixed tempura pricing was expensive then salmon we ordered other then that all was good and well enjoyed.
Actually wishing they had a vegan or non dairy cake instead of sorbet/ice cream for birthday surprise
Like that staffs will walk in by to top up our drinks n check on us to see if food n all was ok
Thanks to male server who served all tables dinner n goes details explaining the dish!

Stylish Japanese restaurant within the Marina Bay Sands Hotel!
Located in the lobby area you enter a relaxing place for excellent dining and drinking. The menu covers traditional Japanese food however also some cross-over to Korean and European elements. Awesome cocktails and an extensive wine list will let you find what you prefer.
The service is very friendly, fast and attentive.
A perfect place to enjoy great moments!
