everything was great. i try the fresh rolls, crispy rollls and the pho.. i could say im a pho enthusiast, and this pho is great, the meat really cooked well and u can feel it melt in ur mouth, but unfortunately they serve the pho with warm broth for me i can say tht the broth for the pho is not hot enough and almost cold.. thats really bad condition to eat pho, for me the best way to eat pho is whn the broth really hot and eat it right away. but overall everything was great.. thanks

“We finally tried Sugar Bowl in Willoughby after hearing so many good things from friends — and it did not disappoint!

We came here as a family and loved everything we ordered. The Chicken Padd See Ew was perfectly cooked, the sauce had that amazing sweet and savory balance. The Beef Pho was rich and flavorful — you can really taste the slow-cooked broth.

We also tried the fruit bubble tea, which was super refreshing and not too sweet — just right! Everything was so good that we actually forgot to take pictures before eating

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. We’ll definitely come back again soon!”

been going here for a few years now for the thai tea which is by far my favorite around. i’m gluten free now so i can’t eat the crab rangoons anymore but those were always so yum too!

Excellent and fair price. We ordered: spinach cheese rolls, chicken wings, beef teriyaki, beef pho, oolong tea 50% sweet lychee flavor with lychee pop boba, oolong tea 50% sweet mango flavor with mango pop boba. Everything was delicious.

Atmosphere and service is what you would expect of an independently owned and operated small restaurant aimed more at takeout but has a small casual dining area.

IMHO food made fresh is best fresh. The small dining area with both table and chairs and a high top counter with chairs, so we dined in.

Food was all made fresh to order, served when hot and ready. The beef teriyaki was on a plate with a metal fork provided, pho was in a more prepared as if to go. No complaints when the food is good though. Looked like everyone was cooking “homemade” to include shredding carrots.
They don’t have hot sauces and oils on the table but do provide a packet of chili sauce and one of hoisin sauce . So far the best bubble tea spot locally.

Personally it my new favorite spot.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to say something about the Pad Thai at Sugar Bowl.

It was honestly really good. Not the sweet, heavy kind you often get, but the kind that actually reminds me of eating Pad Thai in Thailand.

The noodles were cooked just right, the sauce had a nice balance, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell it’s made with care, not rushed.

Nothing fancy, just comforting, real Thai food. If you’ve been missing authentic Pad Thai or are tired of overly Americanized versions, this one is worth trying. I’ll definitely order it again.

Stopped by Sugar Bowl for the first time — so glad I did! ️

The Beef Pho (P2 I believe) was super tasty — rich, deep broth that reminded me of Vietnam .

The Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet and they’ve got a bunch of ice cream flavors too — such a fun bonus!

Service was really friendly Felt lucky to have found this gem right off the highway! ✨

This feels mostly a sweet treat kind of place with a side option of some meal options. I stopped in for Pho. Just know that although this place has options to dine in, it’s packaged like a to-go style. Plastic utensils and take out bowl. Although it was “good” to me it wasn’t great. I love salty, but this was overly salty. You are only given one small packet of hoisin and one small package of Sriracha. You can buy more for .50 each. That feels off -putting . Typically you are given a bottle to use to taste.

This is fine for a quick meal, it’s just not what I was expecting. I personally would not come back. I will say the price was only about $10.99. So that being said, it was ok. Service was very nice , just not the best pho. I can’t speak to the other items. Additionally , they close from 2:30-4:00.

Excellent food with no frills. Their spicy basil rice was amazing. Bubble tea was ok – the bobas were very soft and tea choices are limited.

Nothing authentic about the place. (If I could give it zero stars, I would.)
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unbelievably disappointing. The moment I walked in, the place looked neglected, tables were sticky, the floors hadn’t been cleaned in who-knows-how-long, and there was an odd smell lingering in the air. The food managed to be even worse. My order arrived undercooked and completely bland. The texture was off, no flavor and I had stomach issues the next day.I would never recommend this place as this was easily one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. Save yourself the frustration and choose literally any other place.
