Charming and intimate, perfect for a date night. Sitting at the chef’s counter was a highlight; it was fun to watch the kitchen in action, and the chef was friendly and engaging. The agnolotti, burger, and panna cotta with olive oil were standouts, and the wine selection was spot-on. The applewood smoked Cylindra beets were fine but not especially memorable, and the chocolate cake didn’t quite shine. Overall, a lovely experience we’d gladly repeat.

Cellar Door Provisions delivers an experience where everything just feels intentional.
The Hiramasa crudo was bright and precise — clean flavors, beautifully balanced. The suppli (risotto) was deeply comforting with perfect texture and savory depth.
The pumpkin tortellini was a standout: delicate, subtly sweet, layered with saffron and white vermouth — rich but never heavy. And the bavette steak is cooked flawlessly, smoky and savory with just enough brightness to keep it lively.
Beyond the food, their macerated (orange) wine selection is exceptional — thoughtful, well-curated, and a perfect match for the menu’s depth and seasonality.
No gimmicks, no ego — just serious cooking, great wine, and a place that makes you want to come back. Easily five stars.

Dinner was lovely at Cellar Door Provisions. Their preparation style highlights the texture and flavors of each main ingredient. Our favorites were the olives brined in house, and the burger. Service was outstanding. I never enjoy when you sit at a chef’s counter and the kitchen team pretends they can’t see you. That’s awkward. This was very different. The chefs asked us questions about ourselves, and chatted with us. They made us feel incredibly welcome.

Overall a really great place. We took the servers recommendation to try everything on the menu which was fun as the menu changes nearly daily so being able to try whatever is fresh made sense. I really wish they had been a little more deliberate with a miss was the tomato appetizer was truly a plate of tomatoes with (very good) olive oil – which was kinda disappointing.
The peach and watermelon salad though, was absolutely incredible. They also have a fantastic wine list and even some cocktails, excited to go back and try a new days menu!

I had a really nice experience here. The food was really good, with beautiful textures and thoughtful preparation that let the ingredients shine. The staff were knowledgeable about all the dishes and friendly, happy to chat about them, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, striking a perfect balance between casual and refined.

To be honest I was a little disappointed by Cellar Door. It seemed the whole restaurant was serviced by one server, who was definitely doing well but not able to focus on each table individually. This led to slow service from ordering to food running to paying the check.
While many of the dishes were fantastic (mushroom toast, Spanish mackerel), some fell flat — fatty, poorly presented lamb ribs and a strange clam celeriac root dish that didn’t jive with the rest of the menu.
I’m interested to come back when the menu turns over, but I feel like the experience fell flat to what I was anticipating and expecting.

We came here on a whim for a celebratory dinner. Our server was the most helpful! We had the loveliest meal with late summer ingredients and really interesting wines. When we got our panna cotta, I couldn’t believe how much flavor came from this simple and unassuming dessert. A new favorite restaurant!

Dishes were creative and unique, had amazing flavor profiles. I absolutely love the lamb carpaccio, never had raw lamb before, it was cured well and paired with gooseberries that popped in the mouth and cut through the greasiness. Mussels were also mind blowing with the taste and creativity. Everything was fantastic until the blue prawns get in the way, they were still kinda raw I know that’s how some places do it but I felt uncomfortable eating raw shrimps, and desserts were subpar. However overall it’s amazing and definitely worth going back for new menu rotations

Cellar Door Provisions’s ethos around well-executed, clean flavors that highlight seasonal ingredients is one I love, but their execution leaves a lot wanting. Understated food can be great, but most of the dishes were one note and unremarkable – the country bread was perfectly average and paired w/ butter that didn’t really have a cultured flavor, and the overwhelming lemon in the mussels’ soubise made for an almost inedible dish. The one highlight were the smoked turnips, which were paired perfectly with macerated baby strawberries
Service is a bit worse than average – a little on the inattentive side and a lot on the slow side. For Cellar Door’s price point, I would expect better on both fronts
I would believe that Cellar Door is capable of being better than my experience, and their rotating menu means that most of the clunkers are thankfully no longer offered, but unfortunately this disappointment doesn’t motivate a return visit

We had a guest from out of the country. We allowed Chef Megan to design our meal menu. We were not disappointed! The dishes were all unique and delicious. Great service from entry to exit. The owner/chef personally delivers numerous dishes to each table. A true Gem
