Immediately greeted and given drinks. Server took our order quickly. Watched her go roll silverware before putting it in. Sat there for 30 minutes, when asking about our food was told it’d be another 30 minutes. Order was cancelled. Wish I could’ve tried the food but 45 minutes for a breakfast horseshoe seems excessive. Don’t go if you don’t want to wait an hour for simple food.

They were super busy when we arrived at the restaurant, and there was a line, so it took a little while to be seated. We were so hungry since we had just finished the Prairie Pedal Ride at Rock Springs. We had a very friendly waitress that kept our mugs full while we waited for our food.

This was our first time here. To the point, service was not the quickest but there was only 1 server and a cook that I could see. Server was nice and took good care of us. Took our order, brought drinks, did refills, etc., in a timely manner. Food was hot, good and plenty of it. Not fancy, good homecooked food and you don’t have to do the dishes! Servings could have been 2 meals but I was hungry! We had omelets, pancakes, French toast . When you’re riding down Main St., in Decatur, Il stop and try this local spot.

Great local spot, highly recommend! Super friendly folks and good food, simple, the way it should be. Definitely a go to for breakfast. 11/02/2023 They handled our work related breakfast of 21 guests with flying colors. Tyler waited on us and was fantastic. And kudos to the kitchen! All of our food came out super quick. For a group of 21 to finish in under an hour?….(Still)Amazing!

We tried this cafe for the first time and we will not be going back. My food and one of my kids’ food was cold. My other child got an eggshell in the breakfast burrito. The waitress never apologized for the cold food. We also watched the waitress turn her head and sneeze instead of covering her mouth and nose.

This is the second time I have eaten here. The waitress greeted us with a smile and anticipated our needs. Had build omelet with side of bacon. It was excellent. They put a lot of work into their food and service.. This is a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. I highly recommend it!!♥️♥️♥️

The waitress and hostess are nice, the food is just not good. Half of the omelette is bland and the other half is a cake of chili powder. Biscuits were hard and stale, hash browns bland and cold. Not worth the 20$ for sure. It looked good, just didn’t taste good.

Nothing good about this place. 1:15 to get our food was ridiculous how hard is it to make a terrible omelet and biscuit gravy. Was there almost 2 hrs and the food was not good.

We did not have a great experience here. Came in on a Sunday at 9ish and they were busy but we snagged a table right away and placed our order. The waitress that took our order was friendly and she got to us quickly. Then it kinda went down hill. We waited about 45 minutes for our food (table of 4, 2 kids). I had ordered an egg white omelet with no cheese and it came out with cheese. Which no big deal it happens but the attitude from the (different) waitress was completely rude. Like how dare I send something back that they made incorrectly. And I’m 100% sure I asked for no cheese because I can’t eat it. I waitressed my way through high school, college and grad school so I like to think I’m not an a-hole in these types of situations. A simple “oh sorry let me have that remade” would have been the appropriate reaction.
They did remake it quickly and it was a decent omelet. But overall between the wait and the service I wouldn’t recommend this place.
