What an unexpected treat to myself today. Dropped in because I was looking for something different than my usual restaurant choices. Great decision. The food was spectacular and so full of flavor. I had the butter chicken for an entree and samosa as an appetizer.
Check them out next time you’re wanting something different and you will not be disappointed.

Came in for an early dinner with my daughter. We ordered Samosa, Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Tikki Masala, and butter paratha. All were delicious! Entrees were portioned well and customizable spice level. Staff was kind and super helpful. Atmosphere was clean, organized and cute for photo ops with the twinkle lights! We will definitely be back!

I was excited to try Gol Bowl on Manchester this evening. They have decorated their place with strings of fairy lights for a very relaxing atmosphere. Swos was the server and she did a fabulous job. She wanted to make sure everything was just right and that we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the chili flaky paratha, if you’re not afraid of a little spice, and the chicken tikka masala was also delicious. I will be back to try many of the other dishes as well.

Relaxed Vibe and service were terrific!!!
We had Chat (Papri Chat) was flavorful and tangy. Wanted to have something like that for a long time and finally got it.

Gol Bowl is amazing. The Pani Puri (veg appetizer) alone makes it worth coming to Gol Bowl. It’s so delicious — a flavor explosion in the best way — and not available at a lot of Indian places. Everything else we got (Samosa Chaat, Mango Chicken) was also very good. Will definitely be back. Lunch specials (M-F) are also very reasonably priced. Menu has excellent range and variety without being overwhelming. Gol Bowl is one of the best Indian / South Asian places in the STL region. Don’t miss it!

Received a $10 off $40 coupon and decided to try out the restaurant. Samosa chaat was fabulous and very flavorful. Chicken tikka could have been salted better and could have been spicier but still yummy. Non veg platter consists of three kinds of chicken, which is a little redundant, but still tasty. In terms of staff they were very friendly. Waitress however came off a little condescending when it was brought up that we thought the nonveg platter had other meats aside from chicken. The waitress, who was not Indian, laughed and made a comment about how Indian restaurants don’t serve other meats aside from chicken… this is simply not true, coming from my own experience as an Indian who has eaten at Indian restaurants all around Canada, the US, and India. When it came time to pay the bill the waitress kept listing the coupon as 10% off even though the coupon said $10 off. We were not given a receipt but based on the total charged I think only 10% was taken off not the $10 as stated in the coupon. It’s a new restaurant and there are some things to work on but overall was not a bad experience. This is a good restaurant if you’re looking for Americanized Indian food.

Super delicious! I got the butter chicken for lunch and it was incredible, sweet and tangy. The butter paratha was super tasty, buttery and flaky. The menu has a lot of options, you can definitely come back and try more. Utsav was our server and he was great.

I don’t recommend. After a discussion with the waitress on portion sizes, I chose the lunch portion, mild spice. After using the men’s restroom because 2 of 3 restrooms were out of order, I was brought a huge bowl. She said she upgraded me to the entree size because she thought the lunch wouldn’t be enough. I thought, “Oh how thoughtful!” It was good but much spicier than what I expected for mild. I had to take home most of it, and that’s why I only wanted the lunch portion.
The bill was nearly twice what I expected because she charged me for the entree, even though that’s not what I ordered, and the spice level was listed as “medium.”
In addition to questionable billing, and out of order restrooms, they kept changing the music in the middle of songs. I don’t think I heard a single song all the way through. This experience is unfortunate because the food was decent. It looks like others have enjoyed this place, so good luck to this business, but I won’t be bringing the family here.

This ghee roast prawns was disaster. Swimming in water bitter masala & prawns that tasted old & chewy.
Butter chicken the gravy was overly sweet & taste like canned tomato sauce, lacking any real butter & spice
Terrible chicken noodle bland , mushy noodle dry chicken , zero seasoning
Chicken wings the masala was raw & bitter wings were overcooked dry , complete disappointment
Unfortunately this restaurant failed on every level, Awful food, If Disappointed had a flavor this restaurant perfected
