It was tasty but could use some work.
Baguette had the nice crispy crunch with soft inside.
Not a fan of microwaved pre cooked chicken and the portion was small for $11.50! (Bahn mi is supposed to be cheap sandwich, $6 or $7 max.) Also did not taste like lemongrass at all.
The pickled radish and carrots had no pickled flavour but had good crunch and I only got 1 very thin slice of cucumber.
They use the real bahn mi mayo which was really the only flavour the whole sandwich had tbh.
The area in the convenience store where they prep the food was clean and the guy making the food used good health and safety practices.
Service was somewhat slow for a bahn mi but that can be improved.
Overall, if you’re going to charge $11.50 for what can be got for $6,$7. The portion size needs to be better and the flavours need to really hit. I hope this helps you see things clearly.

I saw on social media they were doing a soft launch this past weekend so I thought I try it out. I walked up to the outside window. There was a sign that says order here. There were 2 women inside but they never opened their window so I decided to go inside. One lady kindly greeted me and asked what I would like to order. I asked for the cold cut special. I don’t think I received the right order. By the time I was half way home, I opened my banh mi and took a bite. Looks more like it could be the BBQ sausage. I guess the person misheard what I said. The meat itself tasted great. Liked the pate. A little disappointed there wasn’t much of the pickled veggies.

Oi bahn mi is a great little sandwich stand tucked into a convenience store in leslieville. They have Incredible 9 inch sized bahn mi!! They also toast the baguette so it’s crispy and warm. If you get the sausage or tofu option they also serve it warm. I like the assorted special. The staff are really kind. You can also order from their take out window. Highly recommend trying out Oi Bahn Mi!!!

This is a great addition to the neighbourhood, solid bahn mi and Lynda is an amazing local business owner. We tried the classic cold cut which was phenomenal and the lemongrass tofu which was solid but a bit smaller (and cheaper). We’d be happy to pay a bit extra to get this upsized with some cucumbers in there. It was opening day so excited to see this spot get Ben better as they get settled in. Definitely worth a visit!

I was walking by and noticed this new spot on Queen St. East. I tried the Cold Cut Sandwich and Vietnamese Coffee, and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwich was packed with lots of meat, and the coffee was rich and flavourful. I really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back.
I also love that they have a window experience – perfect for grabbing something while walking your dog without even having to go inside.
Friends and neighbours who live nearby — you have to try it. It’s incredibly tasty.
I’m so happy our neighbourhood has a wonderful new café like this ❤️

I came today to pick up my Ơi Banh Mi tray for the holidays and am so happy! The banh mi tray prsentation is gorgeous with rose cucumbers for extra care and touch. My party guests will be so impressed. The banh mi and vietnamese coffee here are delicious so much meat given and the bread is fresh and does not flake all over the place! The customer service is excellent, everyone that works here is very helpful and greet you with nice smiles! I love this shop, my new go to for banh mi now

I ordered both their cold cut special and their BBQ sausage. Next time, I’d definitely ask for spicy.
I personally prefer the BBQ sausage; it’s jam-packed with flavour and has a bit more umami than the cold cut.
The staff was lovely and very apologetic when I waited for my banh mi because it was quite busy.
I highly recommend this place and welcome you to Leslieville!

New banh mi counter option within a convenience store. I opted for the BBQ Sausage + Pickled Vegetables. Reasonable price and tasty, however a bit light on toppings and heavy on dry bread.

I was in the neighbourhood and stopped by to check out this newly opened shop. I ordered the special and was pleasantly surprised at how big the sandwich was. I have to especially mention that they finely chop their spicy chilli pepper up and spread it evenly throughout the sandwich which was nice.
