Old school, casual atmosphere, polite and helpful staff and delicious, home cooked reasonably priced seafood. We got fried clams, gumbo with a house salad and shrimp salad. Homemade croutons and blue cheese dressing were delish!
Highly recommend.

It’s been years since I’ve eaten at Mikee’s, but this place was once one of my go-to spots every time I stayed in Gulf Shores. Walking back in today felt like stepping into a time capsule—in the best way possible.

The restaurant still has that old-boat charm with the round windows, and the décor hasn’t changed a bit. Even the placemats with all the Gulf fish illustrations are the same ones I remember from 20 years ago. It instantly brought back a lot of great memories.

Service was excellent, and I went straight for my old favorite—the jumbo fried shrimp. It was just as good as I remembered. I hate that it’s been so long since my last visit, but I promise it won’t be that way again. Mikee’s is still a classic, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I had a decent lunch here, fried clams were good but not the best. Hushpuppies were good but again not the best I’ve ever had. I found it nice they were on the smaller side. I like to enjoy my sides without filling up on a softball sized hushpuppy.

Bushwhacker was Boozey, but good. The place itself was a little dark and crowded, but it is on the smaller side and was busy so it can be expected. The server was doing his best

All in all I would eat here again. I was only in town for a day, but there were several other menu items I would like to have tried.

I got the shrimp and catfish platter with fried okra and green beans. Everything tasted touch notch. He got the all you can eat grilled shrimp with corn fritters and baked beans.
Wasn’t overly busy for a Saturday lunch. Silverware for us both wasn’t really clean, though.

Great seafood place! Got the fried green tomatoes, half dozen raw oysters, and the fried clean and shrimp dinner. Portions are huge, so I took a lot home with me!! If I lived here, I’d be a regular! Great food at reasonable prices!! Super service!!

I did go back to get the catfish which I had asked about and was told it was real catfish. You have to be careful because these places do tell stories and yeah, I went back the second night. It was not real catfish. They are using Asian catfish or Basa as their catfish and they’re a little deceptive about it, but it was still OK and I ate it as long as I know what I’m ordering. I don’t mind but I am very specific and I like real catfish
Great atmosphere and food was delicious and they accommodated my request . Was good size portions.the gumbo had a great dark roux I did miss crab in their gumbo but I enjoyed it!

The food was out of this world good! I’ve never tasted such a variety of shrimp flavors. The marinated cabbage and cheese grits were flavors that I’ve never tasted before and has completely changed forever in my mind the definition of southern food! So much flavor, amazing palette textures, deliciously mouth watering smells and I wish we lived closer because we would be frequent diners here. And Claudette, the best waitress ever… THANK YOU for an amazing experience!!

It was a cool restaurant cool little set up down by the beach. We waited almost 15 minutes to get our salad after our drinks were brought. It wasn’t really busy then the waitress said she would bring my refill for my tea and 20 minutes later. I got my refill for my tea. We got our food. The food was called disgusting and tasted like it had been dipped in fryer oil all in all one star.

So disappointed. The raw oysters were served at room temperature and were not on ice. Everyone’s entree came out at room temperature as well as the sides. The hush puppies were raw in the middle. The fried okra was greasy. The gumbo tasted like red beans. As we were guests of our friends, we did not complain nor send the food back. Buts it’s pretty obvious everything is sitting in the back already cooked and then they just load up the plates when the order is placed. The oysters’ temperature is really dangerous to people’s health.
