Friendly staff, the food was fresh and tasty. The latte was nice with cold foam and cookies on top. Not to sweet, with those fall flavors.
Plenty of stuff to look at after your meal. Clothing, gifts, alcohol, crafted things, things for house they have it all.

Plimoth General Store is becoming a favorite downtown stop for coffee and lunch! The baristas are all awesome, and the manager (can’t remember her name) is super nice and welcoming. Super easy and accessible, a great ambiance and I will be returning shortly!

My sister and I have been coming to Plymouth every summer for our entire lives, and we’re fiercely loyal to our seasonal coffee tradition at Marylou’s. We are hard pressed to disrupt that, since we don’t have it during the colder months. That said, Plimoth General Store has us driving past Marylous and making the 20 minute drive there and back—it is SO good.
Yesterday, we popped in for coffee and were completely blown away. My sister ordered the Toasted Coconut specialty iced coffee, and I went for the Maple Brown Sugar. Both came topped with cold foam and matching garnishes—coconut for hers, cinnamon for mine. They were so good we practically inhaled them. I’ll admit it: the Toasted Coconut was the clear winner, and I’m heading back today for one in a bigger size.
I also grabbed the Mayflower Melt turkey sandwich—excellent from the first bite. I was on the fence about ordering, but the lovely employee who helped us, Olivia, mentioned that any sandwich could be made as a half. Genius! It was just enough to try without feeling too committed.
Speaking of Olivia—she was superb. Warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, she walked us through the coffee menu, answered all our questions, and made the whole experience even better. Thanks Olivia!
And then there’s the store itself—coffee plus shopping? Yes, please. We wandered through their beautifully curated merchandise and left thinking about all the people we need to tell about this hidden gem.
10/10—Plimoth General Store is easily my new favorite coffee spot in town.

So many little things to look at and purchase. Plus they had delicious sandwiches! Only problem was that it was busy and space is limited, but we were soon able to get the best seats in the place (in front window).

Plimoth General Store is a really nice place to shop & grab a quick bite to eat! They have lots of souvenir type items – it’s a great place to get a gift. They have a small candy section, which is in an old vault – really cool! They even have a refrigerated section offering various drinks, cheese, & more. You can eat in-store as they have a nice bar area. Their sandwiches are delicious! They offer breakfast & lunch items. They’re connected to Craft Beer Cellar, which has a variety of beer & wine for purchase.

The Plimoth General Store is absolute FIRE! The store itself is so inviting. The space is impeccable from design to finish. The inventory covers the gamut: clothing, home goods, Plymouth specific items, unique gift ideas, books, games, kids area, penny candy, apothecary items, amazing dry goods, sauces, refrigerated meats, cheeses, grocery, grab-and-go and SO MUCH MORE. You could spend hours looking! The restaurant/cafe area is spotless with cozy seating as well as window counter and full counter ideal for a workspace or people watching. The staff is always amazing and the food is top notch. From home made donuts to specialty sandwiches and lots in between. I’m never disappointed!

My wife brought me home takeout from here last night and said She loved the sandwiches so she decided to get me an Italian sub which is my favorite. The sub overall was delicious, hence the 2 star review but left a bad taste in my mouth as when I found out how much it was and the size and portion of it. I reached out just to confirm that this was in fact a $14 sub and that the proportions were correct. They reach out and said it was. I’m sorry but I just expected more and my sub to be full and not skimped (one slice per deli meat for a full sub. I ended up getting an Italian sub tonight from one of my favorite places “fork in the road” (pembroke) to remind me that not all Italians subs are equal in size or price . Last pic shown $10. I hate leaving bad reviews so call it constructive criticism. Work on price and portion at least for your Italian sub. Thanks for reaching out to Me to confirm that was the correct price and correct portion though before I left this review but I won’t be getting an Italian sub at least from here anymore. The last few bites of any sub shouldn’t just be bread

What a cute spot to shop and or have a treat/coffee. My husband and I visited on a Saturday, we grabbed coffee, pastries and some French butter. We were so excited for the donuts that are on Sundays we went back the following day. This will definitely be a frequent spot for us, everyone’s so kind and the vibe is very welcoming.

I only ordered a wrap each time, so I can’t comment on the food as much besides that it’s pricey for what it is. The service however, was stand offish and not very friendly. I brushed it off as a one off thing, but yesterday the same thing from the same woman. The service is very slow and they didn’t seem to be any teamwork at the counter to remedy this or at least acknowledge customers in line. Instead they seem to come in and out from the back looking at the line. They really need a spot to grab your online orders too without having to wait in line for 20 mins to get someone’s attention.
