Gluten-free and celiac-friendly Japanese restaurant with a wide selection of sushi and various other dishes. The waiter was very attentive and asked us about any additional allergies. He explained the menu and the food to us.
We went there at 4:30 PM right when they opened, and several tables were already reserved — so it’s better to make a reservation.
Great restaurant – great food.

Iki is a dedicated gluten free Japanese restaurant which is a great option for people with Celiac disease and allergies.
My sister has Celiacs so she is a big fan. I enjoyed my meal but it’s not my top choice place to go.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
There are a few booths to sit at and some tables with movable chairs. There is a single stall toilet.
Reservations are recommended.

My husband and I had a fantastic lunch here. I didn’t realize until we got there that it is a dedicated gluten free restaurant, needless to say we were very happy about that. Everything was great, even the special dumpling of the day. We also had the shrimp tempura, pork goyoza and sushi.

Always been satisfied with the quality of the food. We come here as it is a completely gluten-free restaurant. We have a family member who has celiac disease and has had issues at many restaurants due to cross contamination. That doesn’t happen at Iki.
The high food prices will probably shock some people (us too), but we order our sushi here because of the gluten safety factor. We have to pick up our meals in person, as we are outside of the Doordash extended mileage delivery zone, but worth the effort for the gluten-free guarantee.
If you have gluten sensitivity or celiac disease or even just keep to a gluten reduced diet, this is definitely a good restaurant choice for sushi or Japanese meals.

Overpriced! I thought they missed 1 roll for $40 I ordered 3 rolls and I got 2 containers. I sad to the staff I ordered 3 rolls where is the 3rd one? We put 2 in one. Worst rice I have ever had. Very disappointed.

In the land of sushi in Vancouver this restaurant hits at a solid okay. I say that because it advertises itself as gluten free which was the main draw for us. We made a reservation which seems like it’s mandatory. The tuna tataki, karaage and tempura we ordered was great. The gyoza was a big let down. It was made with rice paper and resembled an egg roll more but it also fell apart and came stacked on top of each other. I wouldn’t consider them gyoza. The service was okay but once the restaurant was half full it was non existent. Something that most may not care about but I noticed was we all got different plates and there were no side plates for soy sauce or other sauces. Table setting was lack luster. For gluten free it was decent but I hope they continue to work on their GF options into the future.

Great sushi restaurant! My mom is severely gluten free, even the slightest amount can give her a migraine for hours possibly days so it’s such a wonderful feeling to be able to go out with her and not see her worry about what she can and cannot have. Food was delicious and staff was very friendly.

It’s a gluten-free restaurant. They use rice flour instead of wheat flour, so the tempura and fries are crispy and incredibly delicious. Since it’s listed on the menu, people with allergies can safely choose from the options. The dishes are made by a Japanese chef, so they have an authentic Japanese taste.

Celiacs this is for you – brought my sister (celiac) here with the family and we all loved the food! Gluten free but without sacrificing taste! Highly recommend the tempura, the soups, and the hell roll! I meant to get photos, but we ended up being so excited we ate right away.
