We hosted my husband’s retirement party at Whiskey Neat, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team handled everything with ease — even when our headcount grew more than expected. They kept the drinks flowing, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for celebrating.
The staff was friendly, funny, and incredibly professional, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. Whiskey Neat truly helped make the night special, and I’m so grateful for their outstanding service. Highly recommend for any event!

Stopped in for a quick drink. Amazing atmosphere, ambience and vibe. The fingerling potatoes were delicious. Our bartender, Caitlin, was phenomenal!! Highly recommend.

They are friendly, the service was great, but most of all, the food was terrific. Happy hour is from noon until 6pm. They are known for their whiskey selections, but we went for a bite and a draft beer. They have 3 IPA’s on tap along with other draft beers and bottles. We also had four appetizers, which were excellent. The happy hour prices can’t be matched. We wish we lived closer!

Atmosphere is boisterous. Bring earplugs if loud surroundings are not your thing. Def super social and lots of fun if loud social places are your thing. You’ll talk to your neighbors, even at a table.
Service forgot 1/2 our order. They rectified it quickly, but still… prompt with checking in though!
Drinks are 10/10. Got the lion’s tail, billionaire, and absinthe frappe. Enjoyed each tremendously. Well balanced and decent strength.
Good was mostly good. Loved loved loved the croquettes and wings. Come here for those alone. French onion had a good flavor but the cheese was not great. Too much and wrong choice to put over the soup. Would have been nice if additional bread had been served on the side. Broccolini was super undercooked. Char was ok but cutting into it was a chore and tasted raw on the inside. Would not recommend.

A group of 55 teachers met for drinks and apps before going to the Patchogue Theater and it was the best decision we could have made. The food was amazing and plentiful. The drinks were so well made! And the service was friendly and professional. We all left very full and happy. We will definitely have more of our get-togethers at Whiskey Neat.

Not the first time, not the last time either! But I wanted to leave a review for 2 reasons: first, Kevin and Joe Ponzio are top notch service. I wanted to highlight I asked Joe for a Mezcal drink, since I am a Mezcal lover and the menu does not offer many options (which is okay being a whiskey bar) and he came up with a drink of his own with honey-ginger syrup and Passionfruit that came out just great for a Mezcal lover like me; Second, I tried a bunch of food since I was there to watch the Super Bowl, so I was gonna hang out with my girlfriend for a while at the bar. Food is always great, but the Chicken plate called “The best Chicken on the block” should be called the Best Chicken on the Island, cuz it was cooked to absolute perfection. Also, I go out to try food a lot, and I always like trying new items . It’s constantly hard to find a good chicken plate since all restaurants do the exact same Marsala, French recipes over and over again, so I was glad to try this one! Whiskey Neat never disappoints. Also the Deviled eggs kick ass
