They have me a cut up chicken tender instead of my boneless wings, and a 2 pc chicken instead of my 5 pc tenders. Horrible experience.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get better service or even acceptable service at the Popeye’s location in Midlothian, Illinois. I also have a very serious complaint regarding the Popeye’s in Crestwood, Illinois that I will be forwarding to the Internal Revenue Service for an investigation.
On multiple occasions I or my family members have been treated rudely at the Midlothian location with the most recent incident happening this afternoon. My husband and son stopped after school for your famous fries (which are delicious) and my husband was asked to pull ahead and wait in front of the door. He waited for French fries for nine minutes and then a worker came out, handed him the fries and said “Thank you”. I assume that because my husband took his fries and didn’t respond, she kept repeating “thank you” in a forceful tone. I have entered the restaurant to order food and have been greeted with the words “go ‘head”. These are just two customer service fails that my husband and I have experienced and me complaining through your website has accomplished nothing. The staff is often rude and I have even been given macaroni that was cold with some type of powder in it. It appeared as though it wasn’t properly mixed and it was served to us that way. I am done with Popeye’s at this location (I love the location near my work at 500 w. Madison in Chicago) unless the associates can be trained in customer service. I feel embarrassed for them because clearly there is no customer training or training refreshers going on.

Not sure how this place has a three-star review seems very high. The worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to my entire life. I’ve lived in this town five years have never even been able to order food there. More than once they were out of chicken? How the hell is a chicken place open and you don’t have chicken? Other times you go there the line is a 5-minute wait before you’ve even ordered smh

These guys know what they’re doing. Both the cook and the drive thru dude are what makes this a 5 star Popeyes. Most Popeyes don’t taste like Popeyes but they got it right and I hope management knows that they have two winners here that make sure this place runs smoothly. Drive thru is a pleasure due to the great outgoing attitude of the worker there (Male). Had to tip em!

Went specifically to this location because they usually have the best chicken sandwiches but today when I went they were completely out of the chicken they use for it. This is not the first time it happened but once before. And I specifically went to this one but it takes 10-15 minutes just to get to the restaurant and that doesn’t include waiting in line which we did for 10 minutes only to be told there was no chicken for the chicken sandwiches. And luckily there was another location just down the street but I should not have to got somewhere else because they don’t have one of their most popular item. And the restaurant have no notice of being out of the chicken used for it.

Shanta hospitality is highly professional. When things are slow in the drive thru and food not getting pushed out fast enough she goes above and beyond to ensure customers like myself keep coming back just by being verbally professional at all times. Upper management please do a better job on hiring employees. If help is needed get help and don’t have one person overwhelmed to do all the work. Best advise period.

Ordered a two piece on sept 9, 2020. The meat was old and dry. The red beans and rice was atrocious. The biscuits are usually dry and hard so I add honey. The cashier said she was only allowed to give me 1 honey. She told me to contact the owner, Chris. Chris, I will be calling you in the morning to get my full refund. I wouldn’t feed this trash to a bear! Get your establishment in order. The garbage you are serving is not edible!

We wasted our money. I always knew this was a hit or miss place but never experienced the miss like most people I know who stopped going. Now I know why. The food we got was absolutely horrible. The chicken was hard and dry on the verge of being burnt with a burnt taste to it. Actually none of the food was edible, the sides were so bland and disgusting including the biscuits. It is hard to describe how they taste but never the less we ended up throwing everything away all $35.00 of it and my family ended up eating sandwiches. I now see what others mean, I will never go back there again ever!
