Loved the vibe of this place! Super cute, clean, and open.
We were a bit confused when we walked in since we didn’t know that it was a place where you order at the counter and you can’t see the counter at all when you walk in.
The food was delicious! I did a build your own with a pound of crab legs and 1/2 a pound of shrimp. It came with potatoes and corn. I got the garlic butter with no spice. It was delicious! The sauce did have a bit of spice to it , but not too much for me. I also got a side of sticky rice. All of it was so tasty!
My husband did the #2 combo, with the king Cajun seasoning, hot. His came with rice, potatoes, corn, eggs, and sausage. He really enjoyed his and said it was a good level of spice for him.
They give you gloves, a shell cracker, and a bib.
I liked that there was a sink outside of the bathroom so you could clean up after eating easily.
The amount of food you get and the quality is definitely worth the price.
We will be back!

Delicious. Wow. Amazing food along with great service, with a cool open vibe. I had the clams and added some eggs and sausage. Beautiful. Very affordable too!!!!!!

We tried King Cajun for the first time and we were impressed! The lobster fries were so crispy and I don’t think ever got soggy. The soft shell crab was crispy and the seafood boil was flavorful and delicious! Everything came out hot and fresh and good flavor. The atmosphere is pretty neat and the service is quick and friendly. I’d highly recommend giving this place a try, you and your wallet won’t be disappointed.

We drive over an hour each way just to eat at King Cajun because they’re THE best crab boil spot in the Twin Cities. Everything is always hot, fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. The restaurant is always clean, staff is so friendly and they play good music making the whole experience such a vibe. Usually the service is great. Today I felt unwelcome. Whomever is the new cashier they have she is very rude and unprofessional. While my son always orders his sauce lemon pepper she tried to tell me that’s not and I had to tell her that’s what’s he likes. The food would be hot when it arrives to our table but it wasn’t. We decided to just pack up and go home and warm our food up. But u still enjoy the other hostess she is wonderful.

First time experience with this amazing place. My daughter and I, came to celebrate her birthday, we walked in and the aroma began to cause my mouth to water. We were met almost immediately by staff, then asked if we could wait a few minutes and then handed us a menu and we sat down to wait. I gazed at what others had ordered and saw the smiles, guests truly enjoying themselves. I knew we had finally found a gem. Looking over the menu, it was somewhat a struggle to narrow down what we were going to order. We hadn’t been sitting no longer than 4 minutes and was then seated. Being a transplant to Minnesota with southern roots, this place exceeded my expectations and let me tell you, we got our grub on! They know how to throw down some food! Great seasoning and spices, generous portions, incredible prices. We had gotten the number 1 combo boil, ended up with leftovers and I had to get a catfish and alligator platters to go. The atmosphere was perfect for us, great tunes, and hearing others laughter. Staff very accommodating, they all looked like they were enjoying working there. The only thing I can say as a negative, the women’s rest room was freezing cold. We will be going back and have already began spreading the word about King Cajun!!
