We offer a dining experience that satisfies your cravings and dietary restrictions. We serve cooked to order comfort food, fine wine, domestic or craft beer, and handcrafted cocktails. We and restaurants worldwide have endured constant changes to the dining rules we’ve always known. In the process, we have been shifting focus to smaller groups and highly suggest calling to make reservations. For special occasions, we could accommodate larger groups at certain times, though these tables will be seated at separate consecutive tables. Give us a call, we look forward to seeing you at TREAT!

Would have been 5-stars. Unfortunately, Treat could/would not accommodate my single reservation and combine it with my new friends’ reservation for 2… at the same time. So I sat at the bar by myself, with 4 empty seats next to me (empty for more than an hour), and at least one 4-top in the bar area empty for a full hour. My friends noticed a 6-top table near them that was still empty when I left. The 4 inhabiting it left shortly after my friends’ arrival.
Food and bar service was fine. My low rating was for the host being inflexible, despite all threeof us supporting empty seats scattered.
I had the bread service which was delightful, as was the Chef’s menu selection of the black-and-blue filet skewers. Sides were garlic mashed and a lovely medley of onions, mushrooms, and asparagus. I asked the bartender to alter their tiramisu martini, and she completed my request. It was delish. Don’t skip dessert. Five stars for the banana pudding cheesecake.

I had an awesome experience at Treat! The food was incredible — every dish came out packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The whole place has such a great vibe, too. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do. Huge shoutout to Starla for the fantastic job she’s done training her staff, especially in the kitchen. It really shows in the quality of the food and the smooth service. Can’t wait to come back! I can’t wait to come back for Christmas !

I have been here multiple times, and it never disappoints! I brought my sisters and niece here for the first time this weekend, and they were truly impressed by the atmosphere and food. We ordered cocktails, the wham pow shrimp, and the bread service, for starters. The bread is always so good and perfect every time I come, and the herb butter is perfect with it. I always try to order a different dish and chose the shrimp and grits (I forgot what it was called on the menu). The others ordered the salmon, which is one of my favorites, the Asian pork shanks, and the wham pow shrimp pasta, which was every one of ours’ favorite of the night. Great time as always at Treat!

Great unique restaurant! This restaurant was recommended by friends who are locals, they highly suggested making reservations and I am so glad we did even on a Thursday night. We had a private table for two and the service was excellent, the staff was professional and friendly. We started of with bread service which was yummy. We ordered the Massaman Curry with tofu and the special Cajun Shrimp. The serving sizes were large but we gladly took what we couldn’t finish home to enjoy tomorrow. An added bonus with clean bathrooms. Great restaurant in historic Morganton!

We have been to Treat many times for different occasions such as date night and birthday celebrations. Every time we go the food and the service is top notch! For our most recent visit, we had the Skinny Goat Salad, Brussel Sprouts, Tropical Salmon and Nashville Hot Chicken. Everything was great as usual and our server was wonderful. Would highly recommend Treat for a great experience!

We LOVED this place! So cite and quaint in the heart of Downtown Morganton! We had days night on a Friday night and highly recommend making a reservation. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are top notch. The Mushroom Creme was fantastic as well as the Fish and Chips. Would consider for six or less people as the spaces are nicely secluded among the decor. Plenty of things to do in the area for a full night on the town.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The cocktail menu had some unique options that were really good. I had the shrimp and grits and it was fabulous! It may have been the best meal I’ve had since we arrived in North Carolina. Hubby had the Asian Pork. His mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were very tasty.

I’m sorry if I misspelled her name but Colleen was an amazing server! She was always two steps ahead with everyone’s order and as soon as she found out I had quite the drive ahead of me, she immediately asked if I wanted a coffee to go. The food was also divine! I had the special with orzo and shrimp. I would’ve never thought to add lavender to a savory dish but it worked so well!!! I honestly hope they have this dish again when I visit in the future.

From the moment you enter, you know this place is going to be special. They squeezed me in without a reservation which I greatly appreciated! The atmosphere is electric. Its light blues, greens and browns all come together beautifully with the copper table tops. It’s absolutely beautiful.
The service was absolutely top notch. Liz, never missed a beat. And trust me, I beat that drum! Flawless appetizer bread with the best butter I’ve ever tasted. From there, I never wanted for anything and the salmon I ordered came out expeditiously. And cooked to perfection! Tender, flakey, juicy. The mashed potatoes and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly roasted and caramelized. The bourbon glaze on the salmon wasn’t for me (I ordered it on the side) and Liz jumped into action again bringing me a different sauce with a lemon twist. It was perfection!!

Okay this place is truly a TREAT. Wonderful service and a cozy atmosphere.
We had a Caesar salad, salmon with pesto pasta, wham shrimp pasta, buzz off mojito, lavender lemonade, and a berry white chocolate cheesecake! SO GOOD.
We were shocked by how fresh everything was. Even the cheese was freshly grated/sliced. Their bread is also fantastic and our total was $85 before tip. (I think the salmon was a special last night, so the price might vary a little)
We will definitely come here every time we visit Morganton. Thank you for this wonderful treat on our anniversary trip!
