I was skeptical at first as i was told the food can be spicy but i asked for less spice and my meal came out fantastic!
For anyone going to Jersey on holiday or lives there I highly recommend Noya Shapla as a must have!
The food is consistently delicious, with dishes that taste freshly prepared and well-spiced Indian and Bangladeshi dishes, served hot and beautifully presented. The staff are warm, attentive and happy to tailor recommendations or spice levels, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. With generous portions and great value, it’s an excellent choice for both casual meals and special outings. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Indian or Bangladeshi cuisine!
Visited Noya Shapla this evening and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the front of house staff were incredibly welcoming, always smiling and providing excellent service throughout our visit…. We started with the Chicken Fuska and Lamb Chops, both cooked to perfection and definitely a 10/10. After a short break, we moved on to our mains: the Tandoori Mix Grill and Chicken Makhani with rice and bread and two sides The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced another 10/10 Everything from the food to the atmosphere was spot on. Definitely going back again soon Highly recommend Noya Shapla to anyone looking for top quality food and great service.
Absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable meal. The dishes are consistently delicious, from aromatic biryanis to perfectly balanced curries, all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. With attentive service and a welcoming ambiance, it’s a must-visit for anyone!
We also ordered raita, but what we received was just plain curd with few tiny pieces of cucumber on top—nothing like proper raita.
Overall, the food was very disappointing and too costly. Based on this experience, I would not recommend going there.
5 of us, 2 poppadoms each and 4 main courses, 4 naans, one side dish, rice and beers = £ 185!!
