I enjoyed the chef’s concept of “cooking for friends” and the rotating weekly menu. I felt as if he cooks the way I would cook for myself. He offered me wifi when he saw my computer as well.
The shrimp was fresh in my risotto, perfect for soaking up the flavors of the cheese and pesto.
I was also intrigued by the small appetizer. Lightly peppered, thin slices of white radish on buttered toast.
They even took care in packing my leftovers by packing each tartine individually.

Second time here. Excellent and diverse food in a beautiful garden. Very attentive service! Can highly recommend.
Today the chicken ballotine with chestnuts, mushrooms and gratin was a highlight and its preparation explained in detail by the restaurant’s owner.
Will definitely come back when again in Lomé.

Great place. Can only recommend. One of the best cocktails in town. Super nice atmosphere to talk and relax. Weekly changing menu but chef is always happy to adjust to specific needs. Just write him beforehand.

Great restaurant in Lomé with unique, inspired dishes that you can’t find in the average nice Lomé restaurant. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics after the amuse buche, but I had rare beef (!) for the first time in a long while, and it was tender and delicious. Maybe pics don’t even matter; the menu changes weekly. Cocktail prices aren’t exorbitant like some other places in Lomé, aged port is on the menu (!), and the wines are stored in wine fridges instead of in the heat.
The owner is friendly and chatty and proud of his restaurant, and he should be. The ambiance is wonderful, the music was pleasant and not too loud, there’s a pool to look at, climbing flowers and string lights over head. Service was great throughout the meal.
I came on a tuesday evening and had no problem getting a table around 6:45pm, but by 8:45 over half of the tables were in use, and it’s not a very big restaurant at all.

An absolute must-go if you are in Lomé! We stumbled across this place on our final night in Lomé and were so glad that we did. The food was excellent and the chef was extremely accommodating to all our requests, coming out to explain each of the dishes. The setting felt very intimate yet polished at the same time. The staff were extremely attentive and helped us with the wine pairing and recommendations for cocktails (and the best Mai Thai in Lomé!). Would recommend to everyone visiting Lomé. Do note that you can’t yet pay on card, so make you bring enough cash with you

Frankly, my experience at the DG’s table was exceptional. The chef welcomed us so warmly he took care of us as it should be. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxing and friendly. The food was excellent. La Table du DG was one of the highlights of our trip to Lomé. It was a calming atmosphere with beautiful lights and pleasant music. David was very friendly and helpful with his suggestions on the menu. The food was delicious! The appetizers and main courses hit the spot. I recommend it to anyone who is in town!
