I’ve had this gem bookmarked for a while and I’m so glad we finally got here! While the space and menu are small, the experience is huge, the food is genuinely authentic and absolutely delicious. We spent half the meal glancing at other tables, trying to decide what to order on our next visit!

Here’s what we ordered:

Pulpo a la Parrilla (Grilled Octopus): Perfectly grilled and tender, topped with a divine chimichurri sauce that ties everything together beautifully.
La Sirena (Ceviche): Our server recommended this after I mentioned I love spicy food. Refreshing, bright, and with just the right kick.
Chaufa de Mariscos: My personal go-to whenever I visit a Peruvian restaurant. This version was packed with seafood (a total plus since many places skimp on it!). The only thing I noticed was a bit of an aftertaste from what I assume was a flavor enhancer. I’m super sensitive to that but tbh, the dish is flavorful enough on its own and doesn’t even need it. Regardless, I still enjoyed it.
Lomo Saltado: My boyfriend’s pick and he loved it! Tender beef, flavorful sauce, and perfectly seasoned fries.

A quick shout-out to the incredible staff! I was too food-excited to catch our server’s name, but the teamwork and attentiveness at every table were remarkable. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

We really thought it will satisfy our Peruvian food cravings. Unfortunately the Jalea and lomo saltado is just ok . The seafood in Jalea are not fresh. We will not order them again. We loved the chicha morada and the ceviche. The service is excellent. They’re very friendly.

Wanted to love this place, but it was a miss for us. The cebiche “leche de tigre” didn’t match the menu (said calamari, came with fried pulpo instead), and the leche de tigre was far too intense and difficult to enjoy. The chaufa was okay, but overall the portions were small and overpriced.

Another hit by Eduardo and Daiwa this time the duo is a trip, Marcelo joins them head the kitchen and dish out delicious octopus, jalea and ceviche.

The jalea was well cooked and one of the better ones I’ve had. The fish was moist and tender.

The choritos were deliciously seasoned as well.

Definitely need to go back and try the other dishes.

Great authentic tasting Peruvian seafood, main dishes are the Leche de Tigre and Chaufa de Mariscos. With the addition of the Jalea highlighted the freshness and high quality of seafood.

Service was great, employee was kind & helpful. The atmosphere is also enjoyable. It was the first time trying Peruvian so I was expecting something to stand out but the food was just okay. It wasn’t bad but not something that I would come back for honestly. I was expecting savory or some kick & I didn’t get that. The portion wasn’t too small either.

If you enjoy Peruvian food, you need to come here. The vibes are on point, the team is warm and welcoming, and from the very first bite you understand why Peruvian cuisine is among the best in the world. It feels like the perfect mix of eating in your favorite tía’s lively kitchen and dining at an upscale spot in Miraflores, with modern takes on classic dishes. I’ve visited three times now and have tried the pulpo a la parrilla (truly exquisite), arroz chaufa, leche de tigre, causa, and jalea mixta—and everything has been delicious. They honestly don’t make a bad dish.

Really delicious fresh food! Wish I had taken pictures of the Jalea Mixta and the Tallarin A La Huancaina con lomo Saltado that we ate! But we ate it too fast ‍♀️ Would recommend this place! And can’t wait to come back!! The food also came out pretty quickly!! And service was great and welcoming!
