All 3 meats we ordered (Roasted Pork, BBQ Pork, and Duck) were tasty with good balance of meat and fat.
I asked for extra sauce, which was only added to one of the two rice boxes and not on the side.
Came with soup as well.
Pricier than other places, but overall good for once in awhile visit.
1. Forcefully charged extra
We order one pound of meat mixed half Char siu and bbq pork belly. They cut too much and ended up have to pay for two pounds.
2. Food Quality
As shown in the photo, the char siu was so dry.
For the bbq pork belly, it literally looks like leftover or the corner scrap pieces covered with a piece of skin
Both meat was so dry and too salty.
3. Customer Service
As a first time customer, got side eyes for every questions I asked.
And not allow to pick the meat. Just hustled in the back slicing and packed before even seeing it.
Had this awhile back but forgot to post. I like the fact that places are starting to offer more than just rice to go with your meats.
Ordered the 2 meat combo with roast duck and roast pork with a noodle soup. Roast duck was nice and juicy with a good amount of fat. The roast pork was super crispy. Nice crunch on each bite even when it was bathing in the broth.
Came out hot and stayed like that for most of my meal which was really nice.
Service was great. Was a little intimidated since my Cantonese isn’t the greatest, but they spotted it and tried speaking to me in English which is very greatly appreciated.
Ample amount of spots for dining and parking is very easy. A good amount of spots for the amount of shops in the centre
Great job overall
Ordered a two item lunch box for almost $18. 6 pieces of duck which are all bones, no meat. The Crispy pork has no crispy skin, only dry meat.
I am never coming back to this place again, just gets worse every time I visit. Everyone should steer clear if you value your dignity and money.
Excellent BBQ house has been my go to spot for years. A hidden gem that deserves more attention. What sets this place apart from others is it’s depth of flavors. For example, the spices used to season the duck penetrates beyond the skin. The BBQ pork has charred and burnt ends, a must for BBQ. They tend to sell out of roast pork every time I come in the evening.
With high quality comes a premium price tag. $13/lb for roast pork and $25/half duck. Well worth the extra money but also feels like a small indulgence.
Clean, space to sit and eat. Don’t expect a warm welcome. This place means business. You order, you pay and you eat.
Highly recommend.

Came here right before closing time and lady on the phone was nice enough to put aside as order until I got there minutes before closing. Been here on and off over the years and it still has above average BBQ. I like duck here the best. Char siu is on the smoky sweet side.
– Large portions!
– authentic
We had three single combo dishes (i forgot to take pics for the others).
– BBQ pork: really crispy crunchy skin! recommend ordering this for sure!
– BBQ duck: juicy, not dry at all, good skinny (not much fat which is ideal)
– BBQ chasiu was good tooo
In general, all dishes and meat were yummy! I would come here again. It does get busy though, and the seats fill up quickly during lunch hours. Recommend going earlier or later than usual lunch hours. Though many go for takeout. Must try!
I used to come often and I feel like the quality went down a bit. There’s also no tray now so you have to carry your bowls and dishes to your tables separately. But overall, a good quick meal. Nice owners.
