We’ve eaten at a lot of great Mexican restaurants but we never expected to eat the best we’ve had in the hills of West Virginia. Wow!! So good! Clean too!!!

I ordered the fish Tacos and they were pretty good. The sauce that they served with it really made the dish. The side of rice wasn’t too bad either. However, the flavor didn’t really pop off. It was good, just not a “wow” kind of meal.
The waitress was pleasant enough. However, she made me feel like I wasn’t really wanted there. I can’t quite explain it, like I made her uncomfortable. The forced smile, eyes constantly wandering away. Like I was more trouble than I was worth.
The atmosphere was top knotch!!! Really loved the decor. From the tables to the wall-hangings, they really livened it up with bright, colorful decorations, giving me the South American vibe.

We stopped here on our way to our resort it was our first night into town. It was pouring rain and we go by reviews and that’s why we decided to stop here. The outside was well lit with plenty of parking. It was just me and Boo a couples weekend. We was seated immediately and the restaurant was beautiful. All the details of the tables and chairs to the wall art. It was something to see for sure. We were greeted immediately with chips and dip and they took our drink order. We got our food It was hot and fresh. We had a little hiccup but they told us just got a new system. Everyone was learning it together. We totally understand that and being short staffed at almost every restaurant. We very much enjoyed it and would go back!

while the service was commendable, the food left much to be desired. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, the flavors in the dishes were off. The salsa, for instance, tasted more like marinara sauce—quite an odd choice for what should be a fresh and zesty accompaniment. Overall, the meal was mediocre at best, with an unusual mix of flavors that didn’t quite hit the mark. I expected more from the kitchen, especially given the otherwise pleasant dining experience.

We just happened to be riding by looking for Mexican for dinner!! We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing plate presentation!! The food was delicious. They have a unique salsa that had a nice Chipotle flavor to it. However, do not order the “large” cheese dip…it is a BOWL of cheese…super yummy…but way too much…and $$ would definitely recommend and stop again if i was passing by!!!

I wish I could share a review about the food but when we arrived we were told the restaurant was full. However, there were plenty of empty tables, they had several parties due to homecoming. But they told us they were full. We asked about getting drinks and chips and they said no. I have traveled the world over and this is the first time I ever encountered a restaurant refusing me service. We talked to a local that was standing behind us and he said that this happens quite often with this restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant. You’re better off going across the street to the gas station and getting a sandwich.

This was my first visit to Riviera Mexican Grill. As soon as I walked in I quickly noticed the dining area was extremely well maintained. It was clean and updated in appearance. My wife and I were greeted and quickly escorted to a table. When our food arrived it was presented nicely. Food was very fresh and tasty. No complaints from me. I was very well pleased with my entire experience.

We came here just after lunchtime on a Monday. Their large mango margarita hit the spot, it was under $10 & the bartender balanced the sweetness with the booziness of the tequila very well. The queso fundido was so good & the portion was much larger than most Mexican restaurants in the East Coast. We ordered 2 different kinds of rib-eye steak: Carne Veracruzana & Rib-eye Fajita. The meat was tender & tasteful, despite there being a little too much fat.
