Most family- and pet-friendly brewery we’ve ever visited. The music was so good (I don’t particularly care for Country, but I was dancing), their beers are top of the line and their pizzas creative and very tasty. And Paul, the owner, was very welcoming and entertaining. Wish the Funky Bow was closer to home, but will definitely make it a required stop next time we’re in the area.

Funky Bow Brewery is definitely one of the most unique breweries I’ve ever visited! We stumbled upon it while driving around the area and decided to stop in for a drink. A big thing to note: they allow dogs. And while we LOVE dogs (we couldn’t resist petting the ones running around), I can see how this policy might not be for everyone. The dogs roam freely and off-leash in a large indoor/tented area, which can feel a bit chaotic.

A couple of things I wasn’t thrilled about: the brewery is cash-only, and there’s a $3 cover fee. For what? I have no idea — there was no live music or anything like that during the hour we spent there.

As for the drinks, the beer was… fine. I had the IPA, and while I didn’t love it, I’d probably drink it again. The highlight was the pizza. It was phenomenal and made up for some of the other lows.

We celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday party at Funky Bow and had such a wonderful experience! Communication with the owner was top-notch when planning and reserving tables. The food, drinks, and band (Skiff) were great and everyone in our party had a great time!

My husband and I got married at Funky Bow on the 15th, and it was a wonderful experience! Paul was very communicative and answered any questions we had, and believe me, we had a lot! He made sure we were comfortable with everything (ceremony location, food, drinks, etc.) and everything could be done within our budget! We were able to come in the morning of our wedding and set everything up. It was VERY helpful that Paul had the space ready to go and roped off for our party. After our ceremony, Misty ensured that there was a variety of pizzas and kept a close eye on what our guests were eating to make sure there was plenty available. She made sure there was plenty of food and beverages for all the adults and kids, and it was all VERY delicious! Overall, it was an amazing day and experience! If you are looking for a fun wedding spot that won’t break the bank, Funky Bow is a great option!

In the last hundred we visited, we have never experienced such a back-woods rough brewery setting. I don’t think we could be described as brewery snobs with all the startup breweries we’ve experienced and enjoyed. We walked into Funky Bow and were told politely it was cash only w/ ATM just outside the door. We proceeded past the ATM and went straight to the car.

Have not been in a couple years. WOW
They still have their awesome beer of course and now they have a burger bar and are still serving great pizza as well. An outdoor stage area has been added and as usual a great band was playing. Tonight it was the Fossils and they did not disappoint. An 18 hole Frisbee golf course and pickle ball have been added. Someone had a vision and it is awesome. Bring your medical card there’s even a dispensary. Can’t wait to go back. P.S. Bring your dogs and children but neither can be on a leash.

Four of us…I had the Gaze, and the others had West Coast ipa, kolsch and a larger. There was a birthday party going on inside and there was a band. Maybe it was just the weather, but we had a hard time getting into the vibe. We are going to try again, when the good weather comes around.

Funky Bow has a surreal hunting lodge from the far past feel to it in the winter, with everyone and their dogs huddled in the warmth of the giant tent/house structure. It’s fabulous. Love the beer, the pizza, the music, the people, the pets and all the warm vibes. The perfect apres-ski place on a weekend afternoon.

Holy sht. This is hands down my favorite brewery I’ve ever been to…ever! Dog friendly OFF LEASH!?! My boys were so happy the whole time. Place is spacious. Beers are solid. Pizza very good. Music excellent. But the dog rule is just the best. Only complaint? On hotter days, maybe 1 or 2 doggie pools for them to cool off. This is a must stop for any dog friendly visitor.
