Atmosphere is was nice. Lovely space with friendly staff. We went on a weekend night at 6pm and we were the only ones there.
Overall think this place has some lovely potential, its atmosphere is very beautiful and friendly. Just think some kinks need to be worked out with the food.
Our dinner was prepared nicely but disappointing in quality and taste for the price.
Hamburger was good, standard fair. Fries were very tasty.
Flatbreads was also good but smaller portion than expected.
Chicken fried steak dinner special was a disappointment…soggy, very tough and overall just not prepared well.
Drink selection was varied and diverse.
Hoping to give them sometime to improve and would enjoy trying again.

I visited the café here maybe 15 years ago, and it was unmemorable.
This time was very different.
My family and I had Thanksgiving dinner here, this year of 2024.
What used to be unmemorable is now a beautiful restaurant that I won’t forget!
Not only was the actual space lovely and bright, not cluttered or stifling, but the staff that hosted the dinner were all very nice and pleasant to be around.
The food was all cooked to perfection: you can tell that every dish was made with quality ingredients and all from scratch.
People may not think that matters, but it certainly makes a world of difference!
Lovely experience, and I didn’t feel judged or ridiculed in the slightest (which you may find in many other restaurants, with staff eyeballing you and waiting for you to leave).
Nope, this place was friendly and accommodating. I felt like I wanted to help them clear tables because they were all just kind people, and it shows.
Simply put, this place had a way of feeling like home.
Great food, great experience, beautiful interior, and lovely views of outside as well.
Would definitely recommend it!

Atmosphere, food, and staff were fabulous for the Private Party Event that was attended. Staff was like having a personal assistant there with you during the arrival / gathering time of the event. They made sure you had food and drink in addition to giving you the run down of the agenda. Very helpful.
Looking out at the manicured golf course was lovely. Being able to step outside onto the patio that bordered the scenic course was even better.
Would definitely go back just to sample their menu and enjoy the views again.

Stone Dock Cafe is a lovely restaurant with picture windows that overlook the rolling hills of the Stone Dock Golf Course. Jennifer and Frances O’Donnell are the proprietors and are warm, friendly hosts. The interior walls of the Stone Dock Cafe are now the perfect background for a rotating gallery of art created by the artists of the Hudson Valley.
I know about this because I am the first artist to display my work at the Stone Dock Cafe. Lucky me! Jennifer has been a dream to work with and made me feel so at home. For the opening Reception of my solo art show she pulled out all the stops for the guests and many friends, family and artists who attended. Jennifer put out a bountiful spread that was beautifully presented and delicious.
I cannot say enough about the experience. My work is displayed juxtaposed with the window views of the ninth green. I found the Stone Dock Cafe the perfect venue for my small event. But one needn’t have a party or reception to fall in love with Stone Dock Cafe. Just go there to enjoy the beautiful views, local art and a great lunch or dinner.

The food was really good, like homemade. I had the beef rib with veggies and it was great. My husband had a hamburger and the meat was very tasty, they use a good local meat. The service was great, really nice family owned place. Brand new and nicely decorated with views of the golf coarse. We will definitely go back!
