Absolutely Terrible! I was treated extremely poorly during my visit. I came in to pick up an order that was already placed at about 5:30pm today, and while waiting in line as the next customer, I was blatantly ignored. Instead of helping me, I was given a stare then the server skipped over me and went straight to the man behind me. Thankfully, he pointed out that I was next, but by then the experience already felt uncomfortable and discriminatory.
When I showed my order confirmation on my phone, it was clear I was being profiled. To make matters worse, another server a few minutes later called out “next in line” without even looking in my direction to see if I had been helped.
The way I was treated was disrespectful, unprofessional, rude and discriminatory. For something as simple as picking up an order, no one should be made to feel this way. I was very embarrassed. Obviously my skin color is not welcome as I received that message loud and clear… I would never recommend La Cocina inside Vallarta Supermarket at 440 E Palmdale Blvd.

I showed up asking for 24 piece fried chicken … lady said they didn’t have enough and I gladly said I’ll wait
