Let me start by saying that I’m not much of a fan of mexican food. I will get a craving every once in a while and when I do then I head to El Charrito’s in Water Valley. MS. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat as are most of the wait staff. The food can be a bit spicey so ask if you’re unsure of the food. I tend to always get the steak chimichangas and they never disappoint. I don’t like the lettuce and all that stuff on my plate so I need to remember to ask for only the rice, refried beans, guacamole n sour cream with my chimichangas. And the deserts are delicious!!! I do love Mexican desserts!!

This place is terrible for it to be one of the only places to eat in Water Valley. Everytime I’ve been the salsa has been water and chunks of tomato, the front desk answering the phone doesn’t know the menu so half the time she doesn’t know what you’re talking about, you can call the phone number 6 times some days and never get an answer. I can see some people may think it’s good in WV but not if they’ve been to an actual flavorful Mexican restaurant.

Cute little town! Bug restaurant. Not busy when we went, so service was fast. Chips were pretty greasy, but food we ordered was good. Servers were very friendly.
