This place completely won me over on my first visit. The biscuits were outstanding and easily some of the most satisfying I have had. I stopped by with a friend and we shared a couple of dishes, but the portions were so filling that we could not finish everything. The food arrived fast, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt warm and welcoming. This spot quickly became one of my favorites and I cannot wait to come back.

Good place for biscuits, i will say. Iwish they out more gravy on my biscuits because even though it seems like enough they make them big and thick and the gravy just disappears when eatting. Home fries were a bit of a let down, seemed like they were just reheated in the microwave. Overall i enjoyed most of the food and would go again

Cute little spot in nova with biscuit sandwiches, saw the spot on instagram and decided to check it out. Possibly the worst customer experience I’ve received in my life, hardly any verbal acknowledgement despite us being us being the only people ordering.
One was washing dishes while the other was eating at the register when I requested to buy gravy when I realized the sandwich didn’t come with any.
The lady eating tells me it doesn’t have any then starts laughing and walks to the lady washing dishes to tell her what happened for them to only both turn around to stare and say nothing.
Shortly after they bring the gravy out unannounced. Is it impossible to serve even the bear minimum? Food was equally horrible and bland as their attitude, potato wedges were decent I guess.

Should have ordered a singular biscuit because the portions are HUGE!
We were looking for somewhere to eat after a morning Drs appt. and found this place because..BISCUITS ☺️ I didnt look at anything beforehand which I should have cause then I would have known how BIG the portions are
I had the biscuits and gravy , my husband had the biscuits and jam. Both were the best biscuits we have ever had and we are both sad we found it (there goes the waistlines) and happy cause..BISCUITS!!
The cafe seating is limited but there seems to be a lot of take out and to go orders. There was only one employee working but she multitasked like a queen . She got the phones, made orders and all with a smile on her face.. so friendly.
The vibe is chill and will definitely be back to try more things..

We were passing through Virginia on a morning errand run and needed a solid breakfast before heading back north. A quick search led us to Preservation Biscuit Company, and the reviews didn’t lie — this place is the real deal.
The menu read like a love letter to Southern comfort, but the PBC biscuit — fried chicken, pimento cheese, and a perfect buttery crumble — was impossible to resist. We grabbed two of those and a mac-and-cheese version for good measure. Every bite was rich, flaky, and downright addictive.
By the time we hit D.C. traffic on the way home, we were still smiling — partly from the biscuits, partly from pure food joy. Five stars, and we’d drive out of our way to stop again.

The food was delicious. I had the Southern Belle. I should have stopped at one biscuit, but I went for two. The biscuits were lightly buttery flavored and that perfect place between moist and dry. The gravy was very savory. The sausage wasn’t overpowering and accented it all well.
The dinning space was a bit chilly, but we got here around opening time and during very cold nights as well.
Will gladly come back and see them for some of their dinner and dessert options.

Ordered delivery a few times and this is one of the few places that lives up to expectations. The biscuits are always perfect – huge, soft and moist inside, and slight crisp around the outside to keep them from getting soggy with sausage gravy. The portions are generous, prices are good, sausage gravy really hits the spot, bacon and Avocado in the Avoyonder is quality, and they actually do a great over easy/medium egg when requested. Someday I’ll have to come down in person!

We ordered online for our first order. When we picked up the staff confirmed our vegetarian ordered and our regular orders. She then even randomly refunded us $2 without us even mentioning it saying for one of the orders we didn’t have to pay extra for vegetarian meat. I think this speaks a lot about the business that she took initiative of doing that. Picture of the food included!

Large portions and decent food. Biscuits were slightly dry. Expect a long wait because the place is small and usually packed.

I wanted to like this place so bad. It’s been in my want to go places for months and it looked pretty good from the pictures and the reviews. The best I can describe this place is large portions meh food. The biscuits were big but just completely soft and none of that buttery flavor you want from a good biscuit. The bacon was so undercooked and floppy I didn’t feel safe eating it. I got the biscuits and gravy. I’ll admit I’m a little bit of a snob because I make a bomb biscuits and gravy, but this one was very underwhelming. Honestly the biscuits and gravy from Bob Evan’s are better than these. My boyfriend got the platter. He said it was plenty of food, but nothing was seasoned very well. Also, I get being busy but I waited almost 10 minutes to pick up my to go order even though it was sitting right there ready to go because the two ladies working refused to acknowledge any of the people waiting despite there being two of them and literally being 5 feet away from us in full view. If I hadn’t already ordered and paid for my food I would have left. I honestly wouldn’t waste my time or money at this place. The food is just not worth the calories.
