Sep 2025: so psyched my road trip brought me to this AMAZING sashimi again. Had same menu and they let my Elwood cat in carrier stand by while I noshed on some of the best sashimi I’ve ever ravished upon.
6 hours in and 3.5 out on round-trip. So great in had to stop on out. LOVED the sashimi lunch special in and EVEN BETTER sashimi Ala carte: escolar (white tuna), hamachi, and masago (got as sushi). I swear the escolar was the best I’ve ever eaten. Very basic place with the freshest sashimi. Quick, friendly service. Great value. Almost worth the drive! Will stop again on next trip. MUST TRY! Will bring a cooler and haul some to cousin on next to trip.

Rude if you go in after 7pm. They’re already trying to close at that time even though their hours say 9pm is close. Every roll I get has Brown avocado. I usually don’t care as long as the food is good, but I’ve given this place more than one chance and they have been consistently rude

The shrimp hibachi dinner was not worth the money. The shrimp was so over cooked, the servers keep wanting to take my food before I was done . I always take my leftovers home . It was so expensive . Will never eat there again. The vegetable was raw and barely cooked . I can say the. Soup was delicious but how can you mess up water and a few mushrooms. The noodles was good but not 55.00 good . Someone needs to go in that place and show them how to run a restaurant . The servers was constantly coming to the table and they need to give you time to eat without interruptions. I will never go back there ., I could have cooked better , I am not oriental.

Really dull atmosphere and pretty expensive for a place that sells dirty tap water. Really doesn’t cost much to install a 6-7 stage water filter….. won’t eat there again because the water tastes like literal pond water… no amount of sugar or beverage syrup makes it clean…. I would be ashamed to serve people something that tastes that bad paired with high end sushi…. Goes to show how little the owners care

I’ve lived in Madisonville going on 4 years, this place right here is HANDS DOWN the best place to eat in town. call me bias!! Never had hibachi till i moved to KY and now i choose them over any Chinese restaurant here ANYDAY!

Food is very good. They wait staff and the lady that takes your order stand over you, snatching plates as soon as they think you are done. With the money spent there you would think they would let me swallow my food before they are rushing us out the door. Spent 72.00$ and felt like I was being watched like a thief.

The staff was very pleasant and the ambiance was nice. The Chef had a tough crowd but he worked hard. The sashimi deluxe was better than expected but not top notch. Our hibachi meals were excellent and we had a ton of food to take home. The fillet mignon pleased my date and she is a very tough critic. In all we decided we will definitely come back.
