The place was semi dark with not much natural sunlight so it was cool from 95 degree heat from the beach!
Tony ordered a PBR in a can and I decided on a Sprite w Lemon & Lime slices! The bartender was very friendly and informative!
Definitely recommend to everyone! We stopped here when on the Island!
The lovely woman on the phone took the order without flaw, and it was ready by the time I walked from our condo literally across the street. The meal came with a drink. We got the turkey and dressing, with collards and mac and cheese. The collards were smoky/porky and cooked so tender they literally melt in your mouth, but not in a mushy way. The Mac and cheese is casserole kind, like with the egg added, not the saucy kind. Dressing was soooo flavorful and moist, heavy on the poultry seasoning, in a very good way, and not overly saged at all. The turkey had a good flavor, a tad dry but honestly whose Turkey doesn’t fall victim to that on occasion, and the generous side of gravy provided the perfect pairing. The meal with tax was right at $12, and I was stuffed and happy to put the box with leftovers in the fridge for snacking on later.
Keep in mind it is strictly 21+, and a smoking establishment, so no kids dining inside. Which is why we just grabbed as to go.
I look forward to trying tomorrow’s lunch special!
Service was friendly but not always available, though we did sit outside which is in the back of the restaurant.
The atmosphere was friendly and we had a nice conversation with some ladies at a table across from us.
Overall I was hoping for more out of the place but it wasn’t bad at all
We were walking back from the beach and saw a sign for their taco special so we stopped in.
We split the HUGE 2 taco + chips & salsa platter and also split the spinach artichoke dip with pretzels. Everything was delicious.
The tacos were surprisingly quite large and full of flavor! Chicken, red onion, corn, cheese, and Chipotle mayo. They could not have been better. The salsa was Mexican restaurant quality.
The spinach dip was so creamy and flavorful. We got way more pretzel bites than I anticipated. This was a great appetizer!
We had a very poor restaurant meal the night before so this was much needed and appreciated!
Reasonable prices, large portions, friendly service, fun decor/atmosphere.
10/10…..I would visit again and again!
