We always come to this Sweetwater and it never disappoints. We always start with eating way too many of their amazing ozzie rolls which are always so warm and creamy with their butter spread. Then I had roasted chicken salad which is delicious but never had enough sauce. We also had the jambalaya pasta which is a very popular dish right now and was up to scale. Lastly we had crispy chicken tenders which were very good. The servers were all kind and attentive.

The food and service was outstanding! I ordered the calamari to share and it was the best I’ve ever had. They were fried crisp and still tender. The lobster ginger sauce was the difference maker for sure as it was complex, but not overwhelming. The fried onions were a welcome addition to the mix as well. For my meal I had the fish tacos which were light. The fish was crispy and the slaw was mild (no noticeable spice to be called habanero slaw). I would have preferred some heat, but these tacos tasted great. I will be back to try other menu items because this place takes pride in what they serve. Highly recommend trying this place and I look forward to going back

I recently visited Sweetwater Tavern in Merrifield, and overall, I had a great experience. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly, making me feel welcomed.

Their in‑house brews are decent and well‑crafted.

We went to Sweetwater Tavern and had an excellent dinner. The service was outstanding, very attentive and friendly from start to finish. One of us had the jambalaya pasta and the other a burger, and both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a fun vibe that made the experience even better. Portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and flavorful.
This was our first time here, but definitely not the last.
We’d absolutely come back again for both the food and the great service.

Our first visit to Sweetwater Tavern – A great time. Bread was warm and delicious, our server Izzy was very nice and and attentive to our table. I also loved that other servers and staff are also paying attention and supporting each other. Our dishes were so good! Great salmon, chicken, the coleslaw like salad that accompanied the fried shrimp was fresh and DELICIOUS. The bananabread and apple pie – Excellent. We enjoyed our time so much! Only challenge for my parents was the music was very loud. Other than that, fantastic experience!

Took the family out for my son’s birthday. The atmosphere is right for a family outing. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was fast and efficient. My only issue was the food was warm, not cold, not hot. I recommend getting the bread basket because of the unlimited refills and the bread tastes like donuts. I also recommend making an early reservation, we arrived at 4:30 and left around 6:30. As we left the restaurant it was packed and there were a lot of people waiting to be seated.

Our waitress was great. I had BBQ wings (best ever) and she brought me a warm wet napkin folded on a plate. I was impressed. Even the other waiters pay attention to your needs. First time here, will be back! $65 for 2 adults and a child (mostly my ribs)

The hostess was friendly and seated us immediately. Waitress was excellent, friendly. The food was great, the rolls were fresh and hot. The bathroom was clean. The grilled chicken and Havarti cheese sandwich has too much arugula or it needs to be cut a little more.

My husband and I had the savory bacon cheeseburger and flavorful fish taco with a tasty beer and delicious spicy margarita. I We live in MD but I would happily deive 40 minutes again. My husband wants to bring his office collegues for happy hour
