Old‑school Starbucks at Burlington & Clinton in Iowa City—friendly, fast service exactly as expected. The cozy décor sets a nice vibe, and the outside seating is wonderful. A solid spot for your daily brew!

I picked up a DoorDash from here and they were fifteen minutes late (which means I ended up making less money for more time) even though there were five of them. Only one was making drinks, one girl was joking with another about cartwheels and they weren’t doing much. Store wasn’t busy either. Bad experience all around. The drink I needed sat on the counter for five minutes before they bagged it and the girl who bagged it genuiently couldn’t have gone slower.

After they revamped this Starbucks location, I like the decor for having a coffee break with a friend or two. It conveniently has free parking next to it, which is usually full during work hours. When the weather is nice, they have a little patio like area with little tables to enjoy your drink outside. Staff are friendly and get your order right and pretty quickly. Wish it was a bit bigger, but it’s a good size compared to most downtown places.

Something that I appreciate about Starbucks is the consistency. This cafe is another example of making consistently good drinks. Of course not out of this world but good and familiar. I stay far away during the semester because it just so busy but during the summer this place is great and the outdoor seating is so nice. The tables are sturdy and the chairs are actually comfortable not just some rinky dink metal ones, they have a great backrest. Although I try to always support local stores seating like this outside is hard to come by for a cafe and I appreciate Starbuck’s later hours.

Cute downtown Starbucks. They were absolutely swamped with online and lobby orders but my order still came out exactly when it said they would and tasted good.

I have tried to give this Starbucks the benefit of the doubt but I will never order from here again!! I’m constantly not receiving my order!! Either items are missing or it’s the wrong item. It’s extremely disappointing when you are looking forward to a coffee and get a strawberry drink instead!! And when I called the store to give a friendly reminder to tell people to be mindful of what they put in peoples’ bags for DoorDash, I got nothing. No sorry, just yeah ok. Now I know why they only have 4.2 stars.
