Jacobi was an excellent server to us tonight, and I must recommend that you please ask for his services when you visit this joint! He served our party the dinner towards the restaurant’s closing time and truly completed our night with his kindness. For one instance, Jacobi very kindly requested us to gather our remaining food due to the hour, rather than rushing us in any subtle or explicit way, which I truly appreciated. He also escorted our party as much as possible although he needed to end his shift as well.
As for the food, our party enjoyed the variety of vegetarian and seafood options that were available on the menu. The menu, ambiance, food and service were remarkable, and I look forward to sharing this experience with those who visit and request for Jacobi’s assistance.

I should have known better but my last order really wasn’t that bad but these onion rings look nothing like there pictures. I could be a quart low of oil in my car and the drip from the onion rings could get me home easily. The mac and cheese is homemade right out the box and the pasta salads oil was way too much and had to be drained. The petal sauce and chicken didn’t disappoint. And if you plan on complaining,don’t call the office on abercorn because as I have already been there to complain about shorting me by 2 chicken fingers,she laughed and called me a liar. I didn’t go to Carey Hilliard’s for the ambiance because it was delivered by uber. Maybe if I did go there it wouldn’t have been so bad.Bottom line did I eat all of it? Yes but I drowned most of it condiments. A big thank you to Heinz ketchup and the petal sauce.

I ordered a captains platter because I couldn’t make up my mind which seafood I wanted to eat! The oysters and scallops alone were worth the price. The fried shrimp was very good as was the fish I left the devil crab behind due to my Maryland roots. Portions of everything were huge so I had to take some with me when I left. That meal is enough for two people!

Love the server he was amazing. The good came out quick as well too. Mac n cheese is usually good but tonight it was a bit off. Probably my taste buds off considering I am pregnant lol. Overall my favorite spot in savannah to come and grab a bite. Definitely gonna keep. Coming back.

Apparently we were there on one of their busiest nights ever. Our food was served stone cold. The flounder fillet was uneatable, the baked potato was luke warm. My wife’s French fries were cold. Our server did her best to rectify the problem. A new order of fries that were under cooked and not crispy on the outside. A new flounder fillet that was half the size of the original but was served hot. I see a lot of 4 and 5 Star reviews but our experience was completely the opposite. Cold food was a problem that evening for several customers that evening. The server gets 5 Stars but the food manager gets a zero.

If you know anything about Savannah GA you know about this restaurant. I was born and raised in Savannah GA and I always visited the Skidaway location. I used to get my food to go and like 2 or 3 years ago dining in with family I realized how expensive the menu is because I used to always get seafood and go after getting the curbside pull up and place my order. This chain restaurant has been around since the 1960’s a little back story. The food is good and delicious. This location has a lot of business and is award winning also. Pull up and support.

Had bbq and brunswick stew. Brunswick stew wasnt that good. Just not for me. Bbq was good though. Great service and the atmosphere was great. Was able to talk during our meal and actually hear one another! Would definitely recommend!! Thanks guys for getting it right!!

I went to pick up a to-go order and the experience was absolutely ridiculous. The lady who came out to my car to take the order had one of the nastiest attitudes I’ve ever dealt with. From the moment she walked up she was rude, aggressive, and acting like taking my order was the biggest inconvenience of her life. When she brought the food out, she basically threw the bag into my car like she couldn’t wait to get away. Then I get home and the food is COLD and nasty. Not even slightly warm… just straight up cold like it had been sitting around forever. And the “tenders” we paid for were a joke. They were so tiny they looked like chicken nuggets you’d get from a kids meal. For the price we paid, that’s honestly embarrassing. I called and spoke to a manager hoping they would at least try to fix the situation. The only solution he offered was for me to drive all the way back and bring the food with me just so they could remake it. I explained that I was already home and that wasn’t possible, and he basically told me there was nothing else he could do. So not only was the staff rude and aggressive, but the food quality was terrible and the customer service after the fact was just as bad. 0/10 experience. Definitely won’t be coming back.

There was a slight wait before getting a table, they were very busy! We began with the onion rings. The batter was so light and flaky on them, very good. I also ordered the Fried Chicken. That takes a little longer but it’s way worth it! It was perfectly breaded, deliciously juicy and a huge portion! The sweet potato fries were delightful. On top of all that, the service was great, I’ll definitely be back!

This is a lovely spot to stop if one is driving down I-95. The portion sizes are very large. I had the pulled pork plate. It came with a side of Brunswick stew which was delicious. I chose the sweet potato fries as a side (slight upcharge). The lemonade was refillable and the waitress offered us a to-go cup. It was all delicious. My only complaint was the restaurant was cold so bring a sweater or jacket.
