TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was great! I got the Hot tenders, and they were just right for my taste buds—lol! They were delicious. If you’re not a fan of heat, you might want to go with the medium. It still has that nice kick without being too spicy. The fries were super crispy and I loved them. Overall, I’d rate it 10/10.

It was my first time here and it was totally worth the wait. Albert was super friendly, and an amazing cashier! He did a great job at explaining the menu items and giving great service. The food itself is awesome. The chicken is flavorful, the cheese is good and the fries are very well seasoned. I loved their Dave’s sauce Very grateful I was able to make the visit cause it’s for sure my favorite restaurant now. 10/10!!!

Walked in as a first timer, had a man named Albert serve me at the front counter, elevated the already amazing atmosphere to an 11/10, couldn’t have asked for better service. Will be coming back. Food was also phenomenal.

Marcus was an outstanding employee. I felt as though he deeply cares about his customers. He came to our table making sure everything was good by offering us more condiments and throwing our away our trash when we were done. They did a great job hiring him; amazing employee.

Really good atmosphere. Albert was a super cool dude, chatted and was super helpful when we said it was our first time here. He gave us his favorite and the most popular, we went with #2 at let me say presentation alone is amazing. Extra pickels on the side which I appeciate. You will literally say Whoa, chicken is pretty big. We spent $42 for 2 drinks , two #2 combos with cheese. Cheese on my husbands fries, a Mac and cheese and 2 regular drinks. It’s worth the buy. We are not in McAllen often so felt like a good splurge. We will be back, good food for a good mood.

Ordered online, the service was fast and easy to order online. The food was ready by the time I was there to pick up. The food was great, they provided their signature sauce and pickles when you order a box. The cashier was friendly and happy to assist the tenders where ok, they were big that’s a for sure. I think the sliders were the best.

First time coming here and my experience was top tier. The staff was friendly and ask if it was my first time here and she helped me throughout the order process. The food tasted and looked delicious. The artwork on the walls gives the place a really good touch. I will be coming here next time I’m in town.
