My singular experience was pleasant. I sat at the bar, and even though there were many small groups around it me, it was still a quiet environment. The music volume was very low, I can’t tell you how much I loved that aspect. The bartender was a total pro. My food was delivered quickly and was excellent. I had the goat cheese balls. They were so amazing I pretty much inhaled them. Then I ordered the grilled salmon salad and oh my stars and garters, it was exquisite. I have attached a photo of said salad.

I recently visited Stokin’ Goat in Omaha, and overall, it was an excellent experience. The restaurant has an unusual yet stylish design and a very pleasant atmosphere, which made the visit enjoyable.
That said, there were a couple of disappointments with the food. The soup was overly salty, and the salad came with canned salmon instead of the lightly salted salmon I mistakenly expected. Despite this, the quality of service, the ambiance, and the overall impression of the place were very positive.
I would definitely consider returning, especially for the unique vibe and atmosphere.

I was excited to try The Stokin Goat for restaurant week, but this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Omaha. Everything from start to finish was a complete letdown.

For appetizers, the deviled eggs were flavorless, and the French onion soup was nothing more than bland, watered-down potato soup. Not even close to what was advertised.

For entrées, we tried both the chicken and the steak, and both were cooked into oblivion. The steak I ordered medium rare was delivered so overdone it might as well have been beef jerky. It was inedible.

For dessert, we wanted two carrot cakes, but they were already out. We ended up with one carrot cake and one caramel cake. The caramel cake was so stiff and hard it was barely edible. The carrot cake frosting tasted fine, but the slice itself looked like it had been patched together just to make it work as a serving.

This place feels like it’s cutting every corner possible, and the food quality reflects that. Omaha has too many genuinely good restaurants to waste your money here.

Love S&G – currently my favorite restaurant. We like to go and sit outside on the patio. Good wine, and great food! shrimp scampi, and Bri appetizers are a must! (I always request more bread with the brie.)

We had the fried Bri, parmesan chicken, hanger steak, and pecan bar. Enjoyed all the items. The sauce on the steak was so good I wanted to lick it off the plate, but I refrained from this unacceptable behavior in public. The atmosphere is great, good interior design that is lacking in so many places. I really like the taxidermy goat above the bar, its made me consider adding one to my office.

First time here and everything was delicious and the Moscow Mule was perfect. They have a great happy hour, all day on Sunday if that’s your thing. The service was spot on: attentive without being overbearing. And I love the upscale neighborhood bar feel. The game was on in the bar, but you still get linen napkins, and it’s not so loud that you can’t hear the person next to you. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I stopped in for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the “Goat in the Garden” salad with chicken and it was delicious. This had a fair amount of chicken and the dressing was so yummy. My husband had the “Grilled Salmon” salad. He is very picky and he really liked his choice!

We will go back.

We loved this place! We reserved a table ahead of time and I was a bit nervous we wouldn’t have it by the reservation time. The place is bustling around 6PM. We were seated on time, the service was a little slow due to the robust crowd there, but the waiter was very friendly. We ordered the pepper fillet, fried Brie, lamb shank, and bread pudding along with beer and cocktails! It was all SO delicious, the fillet came with perfectly cooked asparagus. My spouse said the potatoes and the lamb were to die for! And the dessert was fantastic.
Although it was tricky to flag down the waiter at times (because it was so busy), the food and atmosphere were amazing! We can’t wait to go back! Great place!

This was my first time at Stokin Goat. Nice atmosphere, causal dress which is nice, service was good.
I order an Bloody Mary was good. Appetizer Rum Jerk wings(Pretty good, but hubby didn’t enjoy them), Greek salad(I really enjoyed. You got a olive, tomato, and feta with each bite), and main course Garlic Shrimp Risotto(I added the asparagus. I think it was a good risotto being it was my 1st time having it.)

I recently dined at Stokin Goat in Omaha, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! We kicked off our meal with the honey-dipped goat balls, which were a unique and delightful appetizer. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it set the tone for an amazing meal.

For our main courses, we enjoyed the Garlic Shrimp Risotto and Wild Mushroom Gnocchi. Both dishes were absolute winners. The Garlic Shrimp Risotto was creamy and packed with flavor, while the Wild Mushroom Gnocchi was a comforting, earthy delight.

The ambiance at Stokin Goat was fantastic, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, Stokin Goat is a must-visit in Omaha for its innovative and delicious cuisine, wonderful ambiance, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to return!
