How is it that I have only gone here for the very first time in 2026?! Delicious. Bigger than it appears from the outside, a lot of seating. Excellent menu. Highly recommend the Thai Bistro fried rice as well as the Thai iced tea. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

The foods are really delicious. There are lots of options to choose. Food pictures are included in the menu which makes us easier to order. We loved the cute decorations on the wall.

My wife and I have been regulars at Rice Thai Bistro, and every visit is great. This hidden gem nails the essentials of Thai cuisine with fresh, bold flavors that hit all the right notes.
What elevates the whole experience, though, is the owner, Bryan. He’s the heart and soul of the place—always greeting you with a genuine smile, chatting about the day’s specials, and making sure everything’s spot-on. His passion for authentic Thai flavors (with a welcoming twist) comes through in every detail, from the cozy, vibrant decor to the impeccable service. It’s not just a meal; it’s a warm, hospitable vibe that keeps us coming back.
If you’re in the mood for Thai that’s flavorful, fresh, and full of personality, Rice Thai Bistro is a must. Five stars all the way—don’t sleep on this spot!

I recently discovered this little hidden gem near my house and have already been back twice! The food is honestly delicious. Everything we ordered was so fresh and flavorful, the perfect amount of spice and balance of tastes for me. I think it’s one of the best spots for thai that I’ve discovered in the St. Louis area. Will definitely be back 🙂 Would recommend the Panang curry and all the noodle dishes so far, the names of which are a bit tricky for me to remember purely from memory.

Very yummy food, very kind people. Strange layout for the dining area and the bathroom is in the back of the kitchen! There are no menus and it’s not obvious that you just take a seat and view the meant from the QR code but you order from the staff.
It’s a cute place with good food (the vegetable won tons were like nothing I ever had and were delicious). If you go with someone who has been there I think it will be easier to understand the process.

Not a traditional Thai place. Limited menu choices. No printed menu, gotta have phone to scan QR code. When viewing menu on screen, too many steps to click to actually read the description of the food.
Food tastes okay. Nothing to rave about. It is edible. Not for families or larger groups of 4+. Not great service. Tables are sticky and its very dark. None of the “thai hospitality” at all.

I ordered the Panang curry, and it was delicious! My order was ready and waiting when I arrived, and pickup was super easy. The only downside was the portion size. Based on photos of the dine-in plates, I guess that’s just how they portion it, but I was a little disappointed to see the takeout container wasn’t full. Compared to another Thai place I frequent, which serves curry in a 4-cup container filled to the brim, this was a 2-cup container with extra space. While it tasted great, I finished it easily and could’ve eaten more. normally, I’d have leftovers with similar dishes from other places. Overall, the food was delicious, carry out was easy, but would like to see a bit bigger portion size.

Great vegeterian options, kids enjoyed it too.
Pad basil, salt & pepper tofu, wontons, spring rolls were all awesome. Panang curry was little watery but still had flavors.
Qty is less compared to other thai restaurant but flavors are exceptional. Will come again for sure. Try dine in only as to go orders becomes soggy.

It was my first time at Rice Thai Bistro. It’s a small bistro but very neat. I noticed they do a lot of takeout. Food and service were fabulous!!!
Appetizers:
-salt&pepper squid 10/10 — a little spicy, flavorful but kinda salty to eat by itself. So don’t forget to squeeze a little bit of lime on top to balance out the flavor
-moo ping 10/10— it’s a Thai style pork skewers. Meat was tender and flavorful. Served with very moist and soft sticky rice and dipping sauce.

Entrée:
– Panang curry (chicken) 9/10- I expected a thick and rich sauce but panang curry here is a bit soupy. Curry is flavorful with earthy lime flavor from the Kaffir lime leaf
– Tom yum noodles soup 10/10 – Rice noodles with simple toppings (fish cake, fish ball, ground pork). The broth was absolutely mouth watering flavorful
– Pad Thai (chicken) 9/10- noodles was perfectly cooked and tasty, but chicken was a bit dry. Next time I will get shrimp instead.

Drink – Thai lime tea 10/10

Highly recommend and I”ll definitely come back!

Went there with friends and it was nice but fell a little short for my expectations for Thai food. My wife got the penang curry and it was good, not great. I got the curry fried rice and I really wanted to taste the curry flavor but all I tasted was a little spice. We got some pork appetizer dish and the pork seemed tough. Also, a little pricey for the amount of food we got. My fried rice didn’t look like a $12 serving size. We really wanted to love this place but I just didn’t feel it. The owner came to our table and was very nice. Good service.
