I’ve had meals at a number of Mr. Pickles sandwich restaurants in and around California. Specifically Morgan Hill and San Jose areas. This is the first Mr Pickle’s that served beer and wine as well as hamburgers, fries and other items other than standard sandwiches.
I ordered a gyro and crinkley fries.
I’ve always liked the crinkley fries of fosters freeze. You don’t find them often anymore.
The gyro was on pita bread, not over saturated with Greek yogurt, I’msprouts cucumbers, tomatoes and I asked for onions also. I added salt and pepper to my liking. The meat was tender and delicious tasting and not dry.
I recommend this Mr. Pickles sandwich shop if you are in the Fair Oaks/Carmichael area of Sacramento county.
My only complaint was service was slow as I was the only customer there at the time, but maybe because everything was made fresh.

I don’t like giving bad reviews. But we came 30 minutes before they closed and they told us their grill is off for the day. I worked food service. You don’t turn your grills off until your closing time 4:00pm. It was extremely rude. And the girl working the cashier was really rude about us wanting to get bread that would take 10 minutes to bake.

The girl who greeted us was so nice, very friendly and super helpful! Gave us directions to Dutch Bros and even recommended her favorite drink.

Almost NOTHING on the veggie sandwich just mostly bread! And they forgot the cheese on the chicken and cheese sandwich. Barely anything in that one as well. Do NOT recommend.

The stand-alone location is neat and clean. In addition to a small indoor dining room, they also have outside dining alongside well-traveled Fair Oaks boulevard. Not a regular Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop. It’s also a burger joint. I ordered the Fast Eddy witch turns out to be a completely different sandwich altogether than the regular shops. We also ordered the cheeseburger, looked good, but the meat tasted old.

This is hands down one of the best sandwich shops I’ve ever visited! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the ordering process smooth and enjoyable. I tried their vegetarian hummus and roasted veggie sandwich, and it was pure perfection! The flavors blended so well—the hummus was creamy, the roasted veggies were full of flavor, and the bread was fresh and delicious.
